Saying playing in Tampa is basically a home game for you, then losing both of those games, then coming back to your actual home field and getting swept out of the postseason in front of your other home fans

"The Departed" is a pretty silly movie. Jack Nicholson gets worried about a cop in his crew. His crew is like 5 guys where 4 of them don't really speak English and one of them is brand new and just dropped out of the state police academy

It's actually INSANE how prescient this was. They made this in 2011! This is basically what it's like to use computers now. It's barely exaggerated

this is, unfortunately, one of those times you have to hand it to the “hockey is different” fans because I’m pretty sure the refs and players in the NHL tell each other “fuck you” about a dozen times a game.
This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable. Players are consistently held accountable when the roles are reversed. We expect the NFL to hold officials to the same standard.

A lot of schools are going to be in a lot of trouble when their fanbases start to look at what exactly they’re getting from this new arrangement in college sports. Spend more every year for an increasingly crappy product, led by entirely mercenary admins. To what end?
News release: WSU is partnering with FanWord, an AI company, to create AI-generated stories like game recaps, feature stories, player bios and "other editorial content." Soon, some of the content you see produced by @WSUCougars will be generated by AI

The best player on an NBA champion is willing to take a pay cut and the team might still lose him because they want him to take a bigger one. And there are people blaming the player!
this is the precedent that’s set now btw. the players are the ones being vilified for the billionaire owners being cheap.

The Kancamagus Highway going to be Hunger Games electric this weekend as influencers battle for turf. God bless the locals. Keep you children indoors.
Here’s a video clip of the spectacular fall colors reflecting on Burns Lake in Whitefield, N.H., as the sun was preparing to set tonight. This is in northern New Hampshire where peak is near.

Exclusive: New Big East Commissioner Tim Brosnan isn't ruling out a private equity deal for the conference, telling FOS there's a role for investment "somewhere down the road." Brosnan said they've been approached by a number of PE firms with none worth pursuing yet.

Just asked Victor Wembanyama if he’d ever consider promoting a sports betting company. “Absolutely not. I will never do that. Honestly, I think it's very sad to see some players promote it. …Everybody does whatever they want, but without me.”

Best case scenario for the Titans tbh
NFL division realignment if they were geographically correct
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The map of a geographically correct NFL realignment omits the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. x.com/TomBradyEgo/st… nfl.com/teams/

Mostly agree with this but we’re not putting the genie back in the bottle. Your favorite sport isn’t coming back.
One of the most famous games of the 21st century in CFB. Today it would be a “meaningless bowl game”. The sport peaked during the BCS. But yeah let’s just keep expanding the playoffs
