mHUB has announced the eight startups selected for the Compute-Energy Nexus cohort of its Energy Tech Accelerator as well as newly added industry partner CoreSite. A new national challenge is calling on innovators to help shape the future of urban manufacturing. mHUB has launched the mHUB Powered Challenge in partnership with The Grainger Foundation, seeking breakthrough technologies, infrastructure concepts, and operating models that can help make manufacturing districts cleaner, smarter, and more resilient. Applications are open across three tracks: Energy, Infrastructure, and Management & Operations. One winner from each track will receive a $20,000 unrestricted cash award, one year of access to the mHUB ecosystem, and opportunities to explore future pilots, partnerships, and commercialization pathways as mHUB advances a new, large-scale urban manufacturing district in Chicago.
