I recently presented LogSieve at MSR’26: reducing CI logs for LLM-based analysis. 42% smaller logs, 40% fewer tokens, while preserving root cause analysis. Pre-print: arxiv.org/abs/2601.20148 #LLM #MLOps

The current pace of development in mathematics is incredible. Independent researchers and AI labs are formalizing large swaths of mathematical infrastructure. But there is one catch: understanding Lean does not always feel natural. After a period of preparation, I am excited to launch a new project, Agentic Approach to Computer Algebra Systems, generously supported by Renaissance Philanthropy through its AI for Math Fund 2026. The project will be shared between Adam Mickiewicz University and Warsaw University of Technology. Over the next two years, we will focus on building tools and experiences for mathematicians who want to work smoothly with AI agents and formalized mathematics without losing the flexibility of pen-and-paper exploration that they enjoyed so much in the past. For me personally, this is the start of a new adventure, where the challenge is very much like that of a start-up. We will build our solution in the ever-changing landscape of increasingly powerful AI agents. I believe there is still value in work done by mathematicians for other mathematicians. Let me know if you are interested in getting in touch, whether to collaborate or simply share some kind words, ideas, or opportunities to join forces on more cross-disciplinary projects.

🚀 UofT Computer Science is hiring 7 faculty across 3 campuses: all areas, all ranks. Apply by Dec 15. As a prof at one of the birthplaces of #DeepLearning, one of my favorite little joys is having my office just a few doors down from @geoffreyhinton's former office😊 More to love: ✨Total academic freedom (and I like freedom to work on any AI for social good topics I care about) 🤝 Warm and collegial faculty community 🌱 High tenure rate, with a culture of collaboration rather than competition web.cs.toronto.edu/employmen… Please share widely. We'd love to welcome new colleagues! #FacultyHiring #ComputerScience #AcademicJobs

Introducing FrontierMemory: a new way to evaluate agent memory through downstream task performance. While existing memory benchmarks focus on recall (saturated via agentic search), FrontierMemory focuses on how agents learn from experience.

It was my absolute pleasure to interview Bartosz Naskrecki @nasqret and I'm now very excited to share the interview with you. He's possibly the most knowledgeable person I know about the current capabilities of AI in math and I just learned *a lot* in this conversation (and during an amazing talk he gave at the conference we were both at). Thanks Bartosz! Plus, look at that location!! 🤩 youtu.be/jKcRLlCn2Mg?is=AZYb…
