Now this is engineering
Well that’s annoying for anyone remixing games. Interesting move.
Hilarious that this doesn’t include other apps.
Feel free to clone 2000 SaaS apps. But a game, whoa buddy. We can’t have 2000 Mario’s.
ANTHROPIC IS CRACKING DOWN ON VIDEO GAME REWRITES 🚨
Claude Code picked up a new rule around Oct 27, sent from Anthropic’s servers under a flag called "tengu_heron_brook". There’s no setting to turn it off.
The full rule: “Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.”
Is this the end of game rewrites, modding and everything in between?
Well said. Programming is dead.

Here is Proton CTO's AI manifesto, that I obtained multiple copies of 404media.co/manifestos-fear-…
What if the software factory is your customers?
Why pay software engineers when you can get your users to spend their tokens to make fixes for you?
Report bug button -> Just tell their agent to clone the repo, fix it and open a PR.
Well this is seeming more & more correct
BREAKING: Binance has been hacked with wallets across the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and TRON networks seeing outflows of -$5.7 billion.
The hack includes $1.45 billion worth of Bitcoin and $875 million worth of ETH.
If confirmed, this would mark the biggest hack in crypto history.
We expect more information shortly.
Btw AI job interviews have already been happening for the last 20 years. That’s what the neural nets in social media algorithms were doing.
People got jobs opportunities, got rich, or didn’t because of their willingness and ability to present themselves via media. This has always been impersonal, such is the nature of media.
But, this has never before been so required to participate in society and earn a living. Young people’s income and ability to have children is now decided based on your ability to record yourself on camera and send good slack messages.
However with AI the camera talks back. The algorithm that determines your livelihood requires you to dance and please it in all new ways. Hope you brought your dancin shoes.
This is such a bleak story about what it's like to try to land a job right now. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…
“software development lifecycle” doesn’t end until your feature is incepted into the users mind and regularly adding value to their lives and/or your business.
AI brain surgery on a mouse.
Don’t you worry they had a stop button
Last night an AI agent performed brain surgery on a mouse.
We gave it 19 gene therapy vectors in a spreadsheet, a mouse model of epilepsy, access to a motorize surgery rig with cameras and one goal: reduce seizures.
It picked the drug. It picked the brain region. It derived the coordinates from three papers. Then it drove the stereotaxic arms into the brain and injected 250 nanolitres while watching the entry site through the rig camera for bleeding.
A licensed vet gated every irreversible step and held a physical kill switch to stop the AI agent.
Thread on what it decided, what it saw, and the moment it refused to let me override it.
[Writing this on the spot out of excitement, but I've been 18hrs in front of my laptop coding and coordinating this, so keeping it brief and descriptive, more cohesive thoughts on this soon...]
I’m so glad someone is doing this.
Can’t wait to see how this scales. Can we build everyone a mansion or skyscraper?
When I tell you I ran to the App Store immediately. Please save me from kindle! Already has deals with publishers!?! Really enjoyed Readwise in the past so stoked to try this.
I’m actually so bummed they didn’t bring back the touchbar.
I’m not sure it makes sense to touch a vertical laptop screen? Like I would rather have a touchbar and touch pad. Or pencil. Not a touchscreen? Idk maybe not for me.
I remember when anytime you flew to certain cities, you would see multiple people reading this on the plane as they practiced for big tech interviews. What a time. RIP.
