Ohio Republican Party

Last night didn’t go our way. Congratulations to those who rode the wave to victory. I wish them well. I’m proud of the race we ran. With zero attack ads, we outperformed the top of the ticket by 7 points, a number I didn’t think was possible. That happened because people all over Ohio were willing to hear a different message. We earned the trust of union members, teachers, and first responders in every corner of this state. That’s a coalition worth building on. Here’s what I think that number tells us. Our party wins when we stand with the blue collar middle class. Not corporate welfare. Not sweetheart deals for the well connected. Good jobs, fair wages, and a government that works for the people who actually keep this state running. To every volunteer, donor, and voter who stood with us, thank you. You gave everything you had, and I won’t forget it. I lost this one. I’m not done. I will always keep fighting for Appalachia, for Ohio, and for this great country. Roosevelt said it best. The credit belongs to the ones in the arena. #Fighting4Ohio
