gm frens! One year ago, I released VISIONS, an interactive data painting series built around a single question:
"How fragile are human memory and attention, and how could we make that fragility visible?"
To mark 1 year of VISIONS, I built a live, browser-native immersive room where the paintings breathe as a physical space - and minted the room itself as a 1/1 artwork to raffle exclusively among our 300 VISIONS collectors.

5/ Art Club Museum Exhibition (Houston, TX)
From browser state-graphs to a physical Infinity Room at Art Club Museum
VISIONS also stepped off the screen into physical architecture at Art Club, the new media art museum at POST Houston.
Installed inside Gallery 14's Infinity Room, mirrored walls repeat the living paintings, dense captions, and computer-vision wireframe traces infinitely in every direction.
Standing inside that physical room in Houston is what made me want to build a spatial 3D room in the browser for every collector who couldn't visit in person.
6/ The Full VISIONS Case Study:
This month, I went back through 3,873 @1null1 TouchDesigner saves, 105 @ComfyUI workflows, and our earliest March 2024 prototypes to reconstruct how VISIONS was actually engineered.
I've published the complete illustrated VISIONS Case Study & Architecture Breakdown, covering every dead end, perception pipeline (Florence, CLIP, SAM, FLUX Fill), and interface decision we made along the way.

i just love design, art, and technology.
The next generation of creative GenAI devices will be built by builders like us.
Introducing Genie*, an AI camera with a style dial.
Turn the dial, press the shutter, and the moment comes back as comic, clay, oil, toon, pixel, watercolor, 3D or any LoRa.
Light in, art out. - No upload, no account, no credits.

If you are an AI lab or an Artist, then lets collab:
Artists: Apply for the early access round. One dial position becomes yours, trained on your own style, with a finish made for you. A camera that shoots in your hand.
Builders: Diffusion runs on the camera itself on a Jetson Orin NX 16 GB. Model distillation, computer vision, edge hardware. If that is your field, let's build it together.

This camera idea was born in a meeting with @justinaversano in Zug, Switzerland, in 2024.
When the first working one exists, I want it in his hands.
Can't wait to see what he will create with it.! 📸
New work: @fal design lab presents a new home for fal.ai.
We redesigned most of our brand elements procedurally for scalability, consistency and efficiency, in addition to updating the web UI elements, a tighter typographic presence for legibility and contrast, as well as some surprise-and-delight elements. For fun. 🤠
Why the update? We needed a foundation that could grow with us: a clearer home for careers as our team grows, a better toolkit to tell our product stories, more engaging ways to showcase what our customers are making, and room for experimental and longer-form content exploring how people use fal.
So much more we want to do, but the fun continues~
Update on Carpetdiem on chain.
The original collection keeps its links, because its contract can’t do anything else.
So there’s now a wrapped version: wrap any of the 555 at orkhan.art/carpetdiem and that token’s metadata, image and generative artwork are built entirely on Ethereum. Nothing on IPFS or a server.
Same token number, unwrap any time, gas only. Both contracts are verified on Etherscan and the wrapper has no owner.
You can unwrap whenever you want.
Carpetdiem is now 100% on-chain.
When Carpetdiem launched in March 2023, the 555 tokens lived on an immutable ERC721SeaDrop contract (0x203B...321f), while the generative growth engine (carpet-diem.js), p5.js runtime, and token seeds were served through an external IPFS gateway (ipfs. carpetdiem. art) - and the preview images were low-resolution 350 × 490 blurred thumbnails.
Without minting a second token, wrapping, or touching the audited SeaDrop contract, I moved the entire generative architecture onto Ethereum L1:
All 555 original 32-byte seeds and the complete 842,381-byte runtime (carpet-diem.js + [email protected]) are stored directly in Ethereum contract storage across 36 SSTORE2 chunks via CarpetdiemPlayer.sol and permanently locked.
Self-contained data:text/html;base64 animation_url: Every token's metadata now embeds a standalone HTML/RPC viewer that reads the seed and runtime directly from Ethereum L1 and weaves all ~144,000+ symmetric squares live in the browser (1144 × 1600 canvas + infinite-zoom 8485 × 11879 SVG plot export).
Full-resolution crisp stills: Replaced the blurred 350 × 490 previews with exact pixel-faithful 1144 × 1600 PNG renders for all 555 carpets.
Zero new tokens. Zero wrapping. Zero external servers required to reconstruct the art.
Third show of 2026!
The Idea of Saving Aesthetics is the artwork that sparked my obsession with visual identity and cultural heritage, and its journey since 2018 has been incredible:
2018–2019: Created in 2018 and debuted at the 2019 Moscow Contemporary Art Biennale (my second major exhibition following the 2019 Venice Biennale).
2021: Minted as my first digital artwork and expanded into my debut immersive experience at Lume Studios in NYC.
2022–2023: Exhibited at the Theatre of Digital Art (ToDA) during Art Dubai 2022, before evolving into a new interactive version at Kanvas Gallery in Dubai in 2023.
2025: Secured my first long-term museum license with Art Club in Houston, Texas - while the piece passed 604K plays on my Instagram.
2026: Invited to showcase the experience at the Gwangju Media Art Platform (GMAP) during the Gwangju Biennale in South Korea,
2026: Invited to showcase the experience at the 2026 International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA).
More to come.
