Trying out the new Xbox PC app experience.
Immediate impression is that it is a tad faster, and seems to have a lot more social feature integration.
Still has the annoying bug where you choose to install a game and it takes 60 seconds to recommend a storage drive.
Gonna spend a little time making a 100% full game walkthrough for Escape Academy 2.
I'll post it when it's ready. Hopefully for Sunday? Maybe too ambitious.
The NEW Xbox Nano Controller
Thanks to @XBOX for sending one over!
They release tomorrow and you can pick one up here: bestbuycreators.7tiv.net/DWr…
The most surprising thing about the Xbox Nano Controller is just how "nano" it is.
It's only 101 grams compared to a standard controller (295g) and a fully kitted elite controller (360 grams).
Makes a noticeable difference in a backpack.

The budget for this tweet is $2,000.
That's the cost of the phone I wrote it from, and that's how the accounting department (me) decided to balance the books.
Hopefully you understand how stupid some of the "game budget" conversations are now.
Incredible to see this game get such a meaningful update after so many years.
It's also $4.49
The METRO Redux Next-Gen Update is out now on XBOX Series X|S, with an unprecedented degree of immersion, thanks to performance improvements, enhanced visuals, and control upgrades. news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/10/…
Xbox being under-represented on metacritic seems to be a hot topic this week.
Here was my opinion on Xbox review codes while on the @PlayDay_One podcast back in November 2023.

Nice to see Xbox is trying to tackle this problem now!
Making a few small changes to my workflow this week.
As a viewer, not a lot will change. You may notice video quality is 10-20% "better" when watching in 4k on YouTube.
On my end, I should save 50 hours per year on rendering, and use about 500GB less storage per year.
It's been too long since I've made a 100% full game walkthrough, but that's about to change.
Have the following games planned:
- Call of the Elder Gods
- Bluey Happy Snaps
- Escape Academy 2
What else am I missing?
I was actually pretty excited to make a 100% full game walkthrough for Bluey Happy Snaps which is also on Xbox Game Pass.
Unfortunately, looks like it might have a glitched achievement at the moment, making it impossible to complete.
The 2nd half of the COD MW4 campaign is better than the 1st half. Here are some guides from those levels:

One last video ("Revenge") going up tomorrow to wrap up everything for this.
Didn't expect to have to make an 80 item collectibles guide for a single Call of Duty level, but here we are:

Gonna wrap up the rest of the game and the rest of the guides in the next few hours!
Next COD MW4 video will be for the 50+ notes and 26 yellow crates on the "Stranded" mission which is basically open world.
Might be a few more hours.
