An afternoon with Beethoven in unsettled mood with the Opp.59 No.1, 74 & 95 quartets mitigated by the incisiveness and creamy accenting of @CalidoreSQ at Portico of Ards, Portaferry. Recorded for future @BBCRadio3 broadcast hosted by @johnnytoal.

.@michaelcmchale's three-concert series @PorticoArds
ending in style alongside Michael Collins. Stately Weber, effervescent Poulenc and intriguing piece by @AbbieBetinis stepping away from choral music among several pleasures. @BBCRadio3 relay to follow.
A genuine pleasure to have Director of Culture at DfC Iain Greenway visit for a long discussion about how we value arts and heritage and, critically, how we assess and convey that value. Looking forward to the outcomes!

It's been ten long years since @CalidoreSQ came to Portico and they've just got better and better! Thrilled to welcome them back on Sunday 2 March at 3pm as part of our #feelgoodfestival2025

Thank you!
Looking forward to a first encounter with "the world’s most outrageous and compelling Baroque quartet", @RedPriest4, on Sunday afternoon @PorticoArds. Vivaldi, Bach, Handel and more on offer, quite possibly as you've never heard them performed before. porticoards.com/whats-on/red…
