This might be a hot take but giving AI books to kids should be a criminal offence. We are literally teaching our kids with AI, not educated, insightful and creative authors, but AI bots writing and illustrating books. I don't have children but I couldn't possibly imagine trying to help them learn from a machine that has had no real human experience. Books from Roald Dahl for example, came from his experiences, whether good or bad and those fed into his books. Honest, raw, emotional stories. These AI books are a total travesty.

the most infuriating thing about the pricing discourse on art is that it's overrun by people who have NEVER BEEN EMPLOYED. i used to work in IT as a technical writer and i was paid per project. the WHOLE POINT of higher price points is to protect you when you there is no work!!!!
