Gold has never paid you anything.
that changes today. Prodigy.Fi $XAUT vaults are live on Ethereum.
set the price you’d buy or sell at, and get paid to wait for it. no lending, no borrowing, no liquidation price.
from 10 USDC.
mainnet-ethereum.prodigy.fi/…
$330 million in shorts got liquidated in the last hour as crypto ripped higher.
if the rally has you thinking about taking some ETH off the table, sell-highs on @ethereum ending nov 27 pay 21% at $2,550 or 14% at $2,600.
closer means a higher rate, and a better chance it sells.

Last night traders paid $230M for BTC call options and got $300M of longs liquidated.
That's what a news night looks like from the buyer's side.
The other side is the seller, the one collecting the premium. On Prodigy, that's you:
BTC sell-high at $79K → 39% APY to Nov 13
USDC buy-low at $70K → 10% APY to Nov 20
Payrolls are Friday. Fixed rate, paid either way.

does holding tokenized nvidia get you a vote at the shareholder meeting?
no. NVDAx tracks nvidia’s share price, without the voting rights.
what it does give you: that price, on-chain, and you can move it any day of the week.

4 dates that move BTC this week:
🔴 Today: US midterms. Results land around Asia open. Kalshi has the House at ~94% D, so the Senate is the real swing for crypto bills in 2027.
🟡 Today 10am ET: JOLTS. Fewer openings = cooling labor market = less pressure for a December hike.
🟡 Wed: Treasury refunding. Bigger long-dated auctions push yields up, and yields have hit BTC every time this year.
🔴 Fri 8:30am ET: Jobs report. With the Fed out until Dec 9, this is the last big print before the decision.
My pick: Friday. The midterms get the headlines. Payrolls set the rate.
Which one moves BTC most?

would you buy gold 31% below its january high?
that’s $3,880, and gold buy-lows at that level on @ethereum are paying 8% right now, ending nov 13, 20 or 27.
if gold’s at or below it on the end date, your USDC becomes $XAUT. if not, it comes back with the rate on top.

when you buy a stock, the shares don’t actually change hands that day.
US stocks settle T+1, a full business day after the trade.
a Prodigy.Fi vault settles on-chain at expiry, with no extra day added, and anyone can look up the transaction.

Vaults of the week 🧾
3 buy-low setups I like going into the midterms and Friday's jobs report:
🟢 Safe: BTC at $70K, 10% APY (Nov 13)
BTC has to fall another 11% before you buy. If it does, you get BTC at $70K plus the yield. If not, you just earned 10% on USDC.
🟡 Balanced: ETH at $2,200, 31.19% APY (Nov 13)
Only 4% below spot, after ETH took the bigger hit in hack week. Best yield for the distance on the board.
🔴 Spicy: NVDAx at $204, 39% APY (Nov 6)
2% below, 4 days. Real chance you end up owning Nvidia, so only take it if you'd want to.
All yields fixed at deposit. Paid either way, at Prodigy.fi
Which one are you taking?

Binance reopened withdrawals this weekend. ~4 days frozen, ~$6.3B stolen, 90–95% covered.
This time it's ok, but not every platform can fill holes like Binance.
Before you earn yield anywhere, ask 5 questions:
1. Who holds the funds while I wait? A company or a contract?
2. Is my yield funded now, or is it a promise?
3. Can anyone pause withdrawals? Who?
4. Can I read the code or the audits myself?
5. What happens to my position if the platform gets hit?
Risk is not inherently bad - it's often where outsize returns come from -
but you need to understand what risk you're taking, otherwise you are the yield.

Oct at Prodigy.Fi:
Oct 1, tokenized stocks went live, starting with $NVDAX, @nvidia.
Oct 22, tokenized gold joined, with $XAUT, @tethergold.
both now live on @ethereum.
a month ago, every vault was crypto. now one of them is a chip company and another is an ounce of gold. with more to come.

dollar-cost averaging buys every week, whatever the price.
a buy-low only buys at the price you picked, and pays you a fixed rate while it waits.
the trade-off: if price settles above your level at expiry, you don’t buy at all. you keep the USDC and the yield.

every vault deposit is fully backed and non-custodial, held in its own contract on-chain, not by us or any exchange.

Binance just got hacked for $6.3B. Here's what happened
Last night ~$6.3B left Binance's hot wallets. It's the largest hack in crypto history, and early analysis points to North Korea's Lazarus group.
How it happened
Binance's early findings point to one engineer's compromised laptop. From there, the attacker appears to have got Binance's own signing systems to sign for them.
On Ethereum, that meant an EIP-7702 authorization: a signed permission that let a Binance hot wallet hand control of itself to the attacker's contract. Three minutes later, it was swept. On other chains, the wallets simply signed the transfers out.
Binance says no private key was stolen. No blockchain was broken. Ethereum did exactly what it was told. The attacker didn't need to break anything. They just needed Binance's systems to say yes.
The response
Hundreds of people worked through the night. Binance paused withdrawals, cut off access, and brought in law enforcement. Tether and Circle froze ~$2.4B in stablecoins within hours. Aave froze its markets when the attacker tried to borrow against stolen USDT.
~$3B is frozen so far, and Binance says SAFU plus its own funds will cover every user. That's the industry at its best, and credit where it's due.
The people
If you have funds on Binance right now, you're probably not reading post-mortems. You're waiting. Withdrawals should be back within ~48 hours, but not being able to touch your own money is stressful, even when someone promises it's fine.
The lesson
This isn't a story about a careless exchange. Binance spends a fortune on security, and one of the most capable state hacking groups in the world still found a way in.
That's the point. When one company holds everyone's money, it only takes one way in.
DeFi works differently. On Prodigy, your deposit goes into a smart contract, not a company wallet. Vaults are fully collateralized onchain, so your yield is already locked in the contract, not a line on someone's balance sheet. There's no employee laptop that can sign your funds out.
DeFi has its own risks. Smart contract bugs are real, and this year has had painful exploits. That's why our contracts are audited by Halborn, Pashov and Sherlock, and anyone can read them. You can check the risk yourself.
Custody isn't good or bad. It's a choice. Make it on purpose.
To everyone waiting on Binance this week: hope you're made whole fast. 🫡
if $84,000 is where you’d take some BTC off the table, this vault on @base pays $914.68 on 1 cbBTC to wait there until november 27.
that’s 3.1% above today’s price.
finish above $84,000 and it sells at your number. finish below and the BTC stays yours, yield included.

the fed held at 3.75% to 4%, but two of the twelve voters wanted a hike.
one of them had never dissented before, not once since joining in 2022.
and from 2027, one of the fed’s eight meetings a year won’t vote on rates at all.

Same night. Same AI spending. Opposite verdicts.
Microsoft: $18.6B free cash flow → stock up ~4%.
Alphabet: −$9.1B free cash flow → stock down ~10%.
Neither is cutting. Alphabet spent $51B last quarter and says 2027 will be higher. Microsoft guided $50B+ next quarter.
So what does it mean for Nvidia?
The orders look fine. Between them, those two spent ~$96B last quarter, and a big share of it ends up as Nvidia revenue.
What changed is the mood. The market just showed it will punish AI spending paid for with borrowed money. If that pressure makes big tech trim 2027 plans, that's the real bear case. Nvidia reports mid-November.
The chart says it's a decision point.
NVDA ~$213 is sitting right on the floor of its range since late July.
Below: $208–210, where it bottomed in September.
Above: $217 (9-day average), then $220, its busiest price since July.
And uncertainty has a price.
Traders are paying up for NVDA options right now. On Prodigy, a sell-high ~3% above NVDA pays 16% APY. The same distance on BTC pays 10%, because BTC volatility is at its lowest since 2023.
When the market is nervous, whoever sells the insurance gets paid. That's what a vault is.
I don't know which way NVDA breaks. I don't have to.
Buy low at $206, Nov 6 expiry: 17% APY. If the AI scare spreads, I own NVDA at ~$205 effective.
Sell high at $216, Nov 6 expiry: 35% APY. If it bounces, I sell at ~$217.65 effective, just under the $220 wall.
Both settle before Nvidia reports.
Is AI capex still bullish for NVDA, or is the market starting to flinch?
