fuck. i need to be happy again
i want to draw because im happy again
i need my mind to be filled with silly thoughts and lovely things
so maybe i can make something that’s uniquely mine in my mind
just finished all 75 episodes of Diamond no Ace.
I miss when anime was at its peak, and it’s only thanks to peace and stability. It was a time of peace where youth were allowed to dream and hope
we all know why things aren’t the same anymore.
Yeah change is permanent but I wish it was towards a better future. A better outcome.
But I guess, if there is one thing this anime has always taught me, in every rewatch…
Change is a process, and for good things to be built, for better lands to grow, everything must crumble
to indulge my whimsy and “just a little me time doodle heehee” i ended up drafting 15 pages of Noragami Yatori dj where it’s just Yato taking care of old hiyori and i was ready to say “oh my god. i cant draw manga at all this is hell” but then i remember i started at 10pm.
but ALSO this is why. some manga just Fall Off. YOU DONT KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TILL YOU’VE DONE IT YOURSELF!’!!! UWAAAAAAAH
in love with the old style.. it’s still watercolor and lineart but the flatness of the common style back then that wasn’t obsessed with realism but rather pure vibes and a focus on what they like most (the folds) … dreamy sigh. i want to draw like this too !
