๐ŸšจNEW: Reform will increase the tax-free personal allowance to ยฃ15,000 pounds in our first budget. A ยฃ500 tax cut for the average worker, ยฃ1000 off for a working couple.

๐Ÿšจ Benefits Burnham latest: The Prime Minister says he wonโ€™t put a โ€œtarget or timetable" on reducing the spiralling benefits bill. Thatโ€™s why he canโ€™t cut taxes for working people. Only Reform will cut waste now to put money back in the pockets of working people and pensioners.

โ€œWhere is my breathing space?โ€ This is how millions of small business owners are feeling up and down the country after Burnham's failure of a budget. A Reform UK government will scrap the tax on overtime, raise the VAT threshold to ยฃ150,000 and get our economy growing.

Labour spin doctors rush to contradict the Chancellorโ€ฆ Welfare waste is going to keep on ballooning under Burnham. This was a benefits budget for British decline.
Uh ohโ€ฆ after John Healey clearly promised on @BBCr4today that the benefits bill will be cut before the next election, @ChrisMasonBBC tells listeners the Treasury have since been on the phone disputing he said this and that he wasnโ€™t putting a timeline on welfare reductions.

That budget was as cynical as it was unserious. It was a patchwork of gimmicks. Labour are fiddling while our economy burns. A Reform government will slash wasteful spending, cut taxes and regulation, and get our economy growing again. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10โ€ฆ

If Iโ€™m being generous, Burnhamโ€™s only adopted 5 of these 64 fixes. No wonder the growth forecasts are so dire. Reform has shown that a better future is possible๐Ÿ‘‡
Britain is broke. And to fix it, we need to start growing again. Hereโ€™s what I suspect you wonโ€™t hear on the BBC about the budget. The British state is now working on the assumption that net migration will steadily rise again to at least 230,000 by 2031. Thatโ€™s equivalent to adding a city the size of Southampton to our population in just one year. Between 2026 and 2031, 910,000 migrants will be added to the UK - net. Thatโ€™s equivalent to adding two Liverpools in five years. While they are also failing to build enough houses, investing in our public services, and hold our country together. I will tell you the truth below.

These are the stats John Healey doesnโ€™t want you to read: - By 2031 weโ€™ll be spending ยฃ160bn/year on debt interest alone โ€“ up ยฃ36bn/year. - Borrowing forecasts for the next 5 years have risen ยฃ65bn since March. - Unemployment will rise to above 5% until 2027. The Employment Rights Act will โ€œweigh on the labour marketโ€ - Government revenue will rise to 43% of GDP by 2031, driven by a record tax burden. - Households will be worse off in every single year of the five year forecast than they were in March. - Itโ€™ll take until 2029 to get back to 2019 levels of prosperity. - Growth will be anodyne. GDP per capita grows less than 1% in 2027. Itโ€™ll peak at less than 2% per year, despite the AI revolution. - The national debt will stay above 95% of GDP. We will be on a fiscal knife-edge. Britain is Broke. Britain needs Reform.
