Spoiler alert: No, the Liberals do not care about getting value for your hard earned tax dollar. Carney has consistently ordered his MPs to shut down investigations into waste and ethical breaches.

How about Mark Carney pays for his own veal escalope and beef tenderloin with demi-glace sauce for once? Canada's economy has been flatlining for months. It seems this so-called “financial genius” is only good at spending your money on himself.

NEW COLUMN: Appointment of Carney’s Wife Raises Concerns PM Mark Carney’s wife, Diana Fox Carney, is now Canada’s new “Ocean Envoy.” No competition. The fisheries minister just appointed her. Was she really the best candidate? Quite a coincidence if so. Conservative MPs asked for her mandate and the costs. Liberal MPs, who now control parliament's committees, voted it down. Canadians deserve answers. Yet another example of Carney’s constructed majority throwing its weight around in Ottawa. And there’s more than a hint of arrogance in it. winnipegsun.com/opinion/koop… #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics

It should go without saying, Canadian jobs should go to Canadians first. But Mark Carney’s Liberals are letting corporate powerbrokers use the foreign workers program instead of hiring Canadians. Liberals broke our immigration system. Sign to fix it and put Canadian workers first: conservative.ca/cpc/fix-cana…
KPMG is trying to hire 15 foreign accountants in downtown Toronto at $80,000+ each. In four days, Mark Carney will let corporations hire high wage occupations from abroad without even trying to hire a Canadian first. Toronto’s unemployment rate is sitting at 7% with youth unemployment at 17%. KPMG should be hiring and training Canadians, not getting a free pass to bypass local workers.

More temporary foreign workers. Lower wages and lost jobs for Canadians. Mark Carney is only interested in profiting corporate powerbrokers at the expense of our working class.
I was actually really surprised to discover that the number of foreign workers in Canada is *higher than it's ever been.* All Carney has done is slow the intake (and even that's still pretty high).

This is shameful.
Anyone looking for an accountant job in Toronto? @KPMG_Canada in Toronto is claiming they cannot not find Canadian workers to fill 15 accounting jobs. Do you think there aren't 15 out of work Canadian accountants in Toronto? Mark Carney does. ⬇️

What a summer and fall it's been! 🍂 For the last few months, our Conservative team has been out dropping literature and visiting with families across Winnipeg South Centre, from Lindenwoods to Whyte Ridge to Fort Garry to Riverview and everywhere in between. We've had hundreds of great conversations with people about what matters most to them. Huge thanks to our incredible volunteers who keep showing up rain or shine! #cdnpoli

NEW COLUMN: Another appalling judicial decision Abhijeet Singh, Gurkaran Singh and Khushveer Toor were convicted of the brutal 2022 murders of seniors Arnold and Joanne De Jong. The details of the murders would turn your stomach. Nevertheless, Justice Brenda Brown ruled that making the killers wait 25 years before they can apply for parole violates their Charter right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment. Outrageous. The truth is elections have consequences. After 11 years of Liberal government and Liberal appointments to Canada's superior and appeal courts, this way of thinking in which the rights of criminals are prioritized over the rights of victims and their families has become deeply rooted among our judicial elites. So yes, elections have consequences. Just ask the family of Arnold and Joanne De Jong. winnipegsun.com/opinion/judg… #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics

Friendly reminder that this is what Canada's big immigration lobby pushes for. And Mark Carney caters to their every whim. It's not fair to Canadian workers or the immigrant who want to come to Canada to build a better life. Order and fairness must be restored.
> be Canada's restaurant lobby > operate during a youth unemployment crisis > operate during a housing crisis > operate during a healthcare availability crisis > operate as wages are being depressed > operate as Canada's immigration consensus is crumbling > write a lobby package

Conservative Party's position on immigration levels. 👇
This morning myself and @bradredekopp unrolled the Conservative Party’s position on immigration levels ahead of the Liberal’s release of the immigration levels plan. Immigration levels must go way down, not up. Here's why. View article

How much will we pay for this associate member status? Norway pays $731 million per year for EU common market access. Will Canada have to pay a similar amount but scaled to the size of economy? Will it be less? No one knows as Mark Carney hasn't told Canadians anything.

I am in QP. We, Conservatives, just asked the government why they gave a $12,000,000 contract to an American company rather than the Canadian Commissionaires who had a similar bid. Minister Wayne Long just said, “we stand by this decision”. Unreal. Hire Canadians. Period.

Carney has awarded a nearly $12 million Canada Revenue Agency security contract to U.S. based Allied Universal of Pennsylvania, replacing the Canadian Commissionaires who employ Canadian Veterans since 2012. Carney did this despite his pretend "Buy Canadian Policy" rhetoric.

Two innocent seniors were brutally murdered in their own home. Their killers were convicted of first-degree murder. Now, a judge has ruled that restricting their ability to seek early parole eligibility violates the killers’ Charter rights. WHAT ABOUT THE CHARTER RIGHTS OF THE VICTIMS? The previous Conservative government repealed the faint hope clause to stop murderers from seeking sentencing reductions. MURDERERS SHOULD NOT COME FIRST. VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES DESERVE JUSTICE. If this decision stands, it must be appealed. The De Jong family has suffered enough.

The Liberals are making it easier for employers to hire foreign workers without proving they looked for Canadians first. Canadian workers deserve a fair shot at jobs in their own country. Why is this government making that harder?

NEW COLUMN: Carney snubs democracy with omnibus bills Carney manufactured a majority government after Canadians gave him a minority, stacked parliamentary committees, shut down investigations, moved committee proceedings in camera, and shut down debate on crucial government bills. The use of omnibus bills to short-circuit scrutiny and debate is the next step down the democratic ladder for Carney. When will Carney’s attacks on the institutions of Canadian democracy end? winnipegsun.com/opinion/how-… #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics

Food bank demand in Toronto is up 300% since Carney became the economic advisor to the Liberal government. It is worse still since he became Prime Minister. He says affordability is the best it has been in over a decade. He is out of touch. Canadians are out of food.
