The Anthropic and SpaceXAI compute bill could reach $3.1 BILLION a month once all contracted capacity arrives, which Anthropic expects in December.
That is $37.2 billion at an annual pace. The agreements cover up to $120.5 billion through 2029, more than Anthropic’s stated commitments to either Google or Amazon individually.
For scale, $3.1 billion is roughly 80% of Anthropic’s average monthly revenue in Q2. That comparison will change as revenue grows.

US GROWTH BEATS. INFLATION HEATS UP.
The US economy grew faster than expected in Q3, but September’s numbers complicate the picture.
GDP rose 3.4% annualized, up from 2.2% in Q2. Consumer spending grew 3.8%.
Inflation picked up too. PCE reached 3.6% year over year, while core PCE hit 3.1%.
September spending rose 0.5%, but was flat once you account for inflation. Jobless claims fell to 194,000.
The Fed has strong Q3 growth and rising inflation in front of it. The question is whether consumers can keep that pace going into Q4.

The OpenAI stake added a $207M net gain, worth $0.03 of EPS, and it’s excluded from the adjusted number.
Compare the spending: Microsoft’s capex was $39.4B, against $51.4B at Alphabet. $MSFT is growing Azure faster while spending less to do it.
Alphabet’s Q3 Earnings: Cloud more than doubled, but Search missed 🔴
Revenue: $127.6B, narrowly missing estimates
EPS: $2.12, including a $0.55 hit from an $8.7B unrealized loss on equity securities
Google Cloud: $30.7B, up 103%
Search & Other: $63.4B, below the ~$65B expected
YouTube Ads: $11.2B
The number to watch is capex: $51.4B, about 40% of revenue, with zero buybacks this quarter.
$GOOGL is pouring its cash into AI infrastructure, and Cloud is the proof it’s paying off. The question is whether Search can keep funding the bet.
The Fed holds rates at 3.75% to 4.00%, but the committee isn’t united.
The vote was 10 to 2. Governor Lisa Cook and Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack both dissented, and both wanted a 25 basis point hike.
The Fed’s statement described growth as strong, backed by heavy capital investment, productivity gains and resilient consumer spending. Inflation is still elevated, and officials said incoming data will decide what comes next.
Strong growth, sticky inflation and two votes for a hike. That keeps December firmly on the table.

It’s Fed day. The decision lands at 2 PM ET, followed by Chair Warsh at 2:30.
We expect rates to stay put. The real question is whether the Fed leaves the door open for a December hike. Another 25 basis points then would bring total tightening this year to 50.
Inflation is being pushed by energy and tariffs, but strong demand is adding pressure too. The Fed has to weigh that against signs of slower hiring.
The hold looks straightforward. The statement, any dissent and Warsh’s answers will tell us how close December is to becoming the next hike.

A MACD cross down does not automatically end an uptrend.
If both lines stay above zero and cross back up, momentum may be resetting for continuation. Then look to price action for an entry with defined risk.
