Stuff like this is why I love this space… Creativity and kindness. @essentialceo reached out a while back to include my Ape in a project he was working on, and it turned out so sick with the shirt and poster brought to life. Honestly, it made me feel special, as cheesy as that sounds. Since joining the club, Apes have been nothing but kind to me. I’ve seen so many Apes go out of their way to contribute to the community on their own accord. Whether it’s building projects, creating art, putting together experiences, or simply coming up with ways to bring people together. Nobody asked them to do it. They just want to. Seeing stuff like this honestly inspires me to want to give back in whatever way I can. So I decided to reach out to @essentialceo and asked “do you like sports?”in a DM (which I already knew he did since we’re in a BAYC sports group chat 😂). @seannana IYKYK lol I invited him out to Utah to sit courtside with me at a Jazz game. I also asked if there was another Ape he’d want to bring along, and he reached out to @peterjfang. Which I loved because I’m always wanting to meet other Apes who enjoy IRL. I originally came into this space for the floor price, and I imagine plenty of others did too. But what I’ve come to realize is that the real value of this space is the people you meet along the way. Art, culture, community, and experiences. That’s what it’s become about for me. If I make some money along the way, sick. But I’m more than happy to invest in creating memories and experiences for people who invest in their communities without being asked and appreciate them the same way I do. Excited to do more stuff like this for the Apes as time goes on when I am able. I love it here. Return to Monke. 🐒 Note: Essential put my Ape right next to his holding the trophy. So freaking sick because now he will hand deliver it to me when he comes to SLC. I’m all about the story. 🤙
