Ramaswamy noted during the campaign that he had never met Acton. She refused to debate him, never bumped into him on trail. And she let his concession go to voicemail.
Vivek Ramaswamy concedes. “It is a tough night for us here in Ohio.” He said he left Acton a voicemail and wished her well. “It was a tough race. It was bitter, at times, in both directions.”

We looked at dozens of voting groups across the nation. They *all* swung towards Democrats last night. But some shifted more than others. Read our analysis here: washingtonpost.com/politics/…

People have been asking me how I think the border wall will affect the midterms locally for months and Brewster County, Texas’s largest county by area and +12 for Trump in 2024, became Bluester County

Ken Paxton and Greg Abbott both lost Brazos, a reliably red county that's home to Texas A&M. Talarico toured there, and Abbott has been aggressively messing with the school

I’m not joking when I say I’m more stunned about this than Talarico. Potential Democratic majorities in both chambers of the statehouse, sending bills to Gov. Gina Hinojosa
We're continuing to count the bodies at Texas Monthly: Democrats seem almost certain to take control of the Texas House, while Texas Senate control is in the air. Every statewide office and judicial race appears to have gone D. texasmonthly.com/news-politi…

I use South Asian for things that are broadly descriptive, Indian to describe things are specific to the modern nation-state of India (1947-), and ethnicities (Gujarati Tamil Punjabi Sindhi Bengali etc) to describe stuff specific to them regardless of country. not rocket science
If you are Indian, do you find being called "South Asian" offensive? I know most Americans would not be pleased to be called "North American."
