I know there's something not right with me because while being intereviewed: "What song should replace the National Anthem?" and i'm like "if the point of the national anthem is to be propaganda for the greatness of a country, I do fear Frances Scott Key slayed with that one."

I think it's so important to have hope, to plan for a future, to envision a better time. Believing it's all going to shit is how our coporate overlords win. When you believe it can't be better, it demotivates you from working toward a better future.
