Independent bands are much better about sending their music to radio than a couple of record labels we are thinking of right now. SMH
Being A Record Label 101:
Rule # 1 Send your freaking music to radio! Radio should not have to ask for it!
Rule # 2 See Rule # 1
If you are a new band with a numeral in your band, or the name of a day of the week, please re-name your band. It hasn't been cool to add add a numeral to your band's name since about 2012. Bands like Project 86 are exempted. They did it when it was still cool.
If you send us a Christmas song several days into December, and you say "Just in time for Christmas"...you are wrong. A week before Thanksgiving is "just in time for Christmas". The day after Thanksgiving is on the same day every year: it's the day after Thanksgiving.
Several years ago, we publicly made the comment that: "Playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving...is a sign of weakness." We stand by that statement: we have a weakness for @skilletmusic Skillet's "O Come O Come Emmanuel"...something Panheads have clamored for for decades.

Ok, somebody PLEASE explain to us what makes Twenty One Pilots a "Christian" Rock band. We'll wait...
"Rock / Contemporary". Ppppppphhhhhhhh! What a STUPID category/category name. Well, which is it? Rock? Or Contemporary? For a half second, we thought the band Grave Robber won an award, and then quickly realized...ah...that is a song title from Crowder. @GraveRobberPunk
There are few ways of servicing your music to radio that are less idiotic than Google Drive, which requires you to DOUBLE-enable the song for the radio station. And some of you aren't sharp enough to double-enable it, so there your songs sit... in limbo.
