Webhooks are essential for some services to work and provide value. However, so many people get them wrong. Missing one event can make them untrustworthy. I wrote a design consideration if you wanted to make your own: qalatech.io/blog/free-webhoo…

The Manhattan Alien Abduction… @elonmusk, can you send her to space and see if she recognises anything?

IMO if you're committing a PR to an OSS project regarding functionality you're using in your job, you shouldn't even have to ask anyone for the permission. This code is running on your production, it's part of your responsibilities.

Blockchain is like jazz in the world of music. Sounds like a beautiful solution but it’s super complicated and no one really gets it, so they will still rather switch on Journeys ‘don’t stop believing’ to really feel empowered

It’s not 12 K redundancies but 43K, it’s the entire workforce, with 31K being re-employed on a contract that the company has been trying to bring in for a decade. CEO bonus £3.2 million!! babetrayal.com/?fbclid=IwAR0… #BAbetrayal #stopthegreed #COVIDー19

Need help! I'm fairly new to having to screen senior developers with some kind of test. I want to test their problem solving ability and technical aptitude (memory management, multi-threading scenarios) as well as code design. Any good examples out there?
Server GC vs work station GC (.net core3). Server GC: First GC took approx 11 seconds suspending all managed threads i.e. all incoming https request waited 11 seconds. Not great having requests come through wait 11 seconds to get a response.

All other GC collections took approx 2 seconds - still blocking.

Workstation GC with async collections: More consistency and stability in the service and almost 50% increase in throughput and a better average response time. Am I missing something as to why I would want to use Server GC over workstation? Seems worse.
