It’s time to address unfair competition and global overcapacity – that is the message today from Socialist and Democratic MEPs taking part in a European Parliament mission in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai.
S&Ds are in China to promote European jobs, industry and economic security through fairer EU-China trade relations, including better access to Chinese markets for European products.
Today, as part of a European Parliament delegation, S&D Vice-President @kvanbrempt , INTA committee chair @berndlange, and S&D INTA coordinator @brandobenifei held an exchange with China’s Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao.
Building on the positive signs following the Trade and Investments Consultations, the S&D MEPs underlined that action for fairer trade is now needed in other areas.
Serbian people made their voices heard. First results show a convincing majority for change. Their democratic will deserves full respect.
Now is the time for the rule of law, genuine reforms & institutions that serve all citizens.
This is the path towards the European Union.
