Not sure @kobebryant collectors will get too excited about this one ... but there’s pretty much nothing I’d rather show 10-year-old me if I had a time machine. You are too much, @PaniniAmerica!!!

The lone remaining NBA team without a loss?
Memphis.
Oklahoma City is now without starters Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace and Chet Holmgren not yet two weeks into the season … although the Thunder did add tonight that Wallace “will be re-evaluated prior to the end of the 2026-27 regular season” after left shoulder surgery.
The Thunder say Chet Holmgren will be sidelined at least 8-to-10 weeks after “a biological treatment today to address a small patellar tendon tear” in his right knee.
The Sixers have now ruled Jaylen Brown out of their NBA Cup opener tonight against New York due to a left knee injury.

Nurse said Brown reported soreness following the Indy game and then was not able to go through shootaround today
The Lakers say Ziaire Williams (left foot injury management) has been downgraded to OUT for tonight’s game at Golden State.

Ja Morant Injury Update: The Blazers say Ja has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. A G2 strain is also known as a partial or incomplete tear. Since 2005-06, the average time lost for an in-season G2 hamstring strain in the NBA is 34.7 days (~14 games).
The Trail Blazers say last night’s hamstring injury will sideline Ja Morant for at least four weeks.
After Tarik Biberović arrived in Dallas from Fenerbahçe over the summer … Dwight Powell is now officially Istanbul-bound to join Fener.
Dwight Powell Fenerbahçe Tarfin’de! ✍️💛💙
Fenerbahçe Tarfin Erkek Basketbol Takımımız, son olarak NBA’de Dallas Mavericks forması giyen, forvet ve pivot pozisyonlarında oynayabilen Kanadalı uzun oyuncu Dwight Powell (2.08cm - 1991) ile sezon sonuna dek anlaşmaya varmıştır.
20 Temmuz 1991 tarihinde Toronto’da dünyaya gelen Powell, kolej kariyerine Stanford Üniversitesi formasıyla başladı. Üniversitedeki ilk yılında 31 maçın 26’sında ilk beşte yer alan Dwight Powell, 8.1 sayı ve 5.2 ribaund ortalamalarıyla oynadı. 2012-13 sezonunda gösterdiği performansla PAC-12 Yılın En İyi Gelişim Gösteren Oyuncusu ödülünün sahibi olan Powell, 34 maçta 14.9 sayı ve 8.4 ribaund ortalamalarını tutturdu. Üniversitedeki son senesinde ise 14.0 sayı, 6.9 ribaund ortalaması, başarılı oyuncuyu All-Pac-12 yılın en iyi beşine taşıdı.
2014 NBA Draftlarında 45. Sıradan Charlotte Hornets tarafından seçilen Powell’ın hakları Cleveland Cavaliers’a devredildi. Cavaliers ile yaz liginde mücadele eden Dwight Powell, Eylül ayında ise Boston Celtics’in yolunu tuttu. Boston Celtics forması giydiği dönemde NBA Gelişim Ligi takımlarından Maine Red Claws’ta çift yönlü kontratla forma giydi.
Aralık 2015’te Rajon Rondo ile birlikte Boston Celtics’ten Dallas Mavericks’e geçen Dwight Powell, 2019 yılında Washington Wizards potasına bıraktığı 26 sayı ile kariyer rekorunu kırdı. 2021-22 sezonunda 82 maçta forma giyerek NBA’de bunu başaran beş oyuncudan biri olarak tarihe geçti. Kanadalı oyuncu 2023-24 sezonunda Dallas Mavericks formasıyla NBA Finali oynadı.
Dwight Powell’a ‘Ailemize hoş geldin!’ diyor, Çubuklu formamızla başarılar diliyoruz.

It’s Miami. Many people have had a little work done.
For example, Dwyane Wade’s statue has a new head — after two years of people wondering why the original didn’t look like him.

Source close to talks confirms Dwight Powell is signing with Turkish power Fenerbahçe to play for Šarūnas Jasikevičius.
After 12 years in Dallas, Powell could not force his way onto the Mavs' roster in training camp with 15 guaranteed contracts ahead of him.

There's no Team of the Month award in the NBA ... but the Memphis Grizzlies would have to be the October winners if there was one ... improving to 5-0 with a win at Portland in their first duel with beloved Grizz alumnus Ja Morant.
