TN Govt is seeing India’s biggest collection drive done by the government offices across the state. We are going for the collection drive Today, and prove our effort for a cleaner ethirkalam of our state. We are launching the campaign kottuna valikkuma !!#CTCL #thooimaimission
Easy to dump everything in one bin. Hard to fix later. 🗑️
When food scraps and plastic land together, sorting them out becomes a job for someone else.
Keep wet waste like food and flowers in the green bin and dry waste like bottles and wrappers in the blue bin and the job is done before it starts. ♻️
What does your bin look like today?

Care isn’t only for the people we see every day. 🤝
It’s also for the ones we never meet: the workers who collect and sort our waste. When wet, dry, sanitary and special care waste go into their own bins at home, their work becomes safer and easier.
This International Day of Care and Support, care begins at your bin. ♻️

Home, shop or store, the rule is the same. 🏠🏪
Four bins in place and every kind of waste has its own spot: wet, dry, sanitary and special care.
This is what a Makka Pakka space looks like. Does yours look like this? ♻️

Know the Rules. Own the Responsibility. 📘
Nearly 30% of India’s solid waste comes from Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs). The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, reinforce their responsibility for proper waste segregation, processing and disposal.
Check whether your premises qualify as a BWG and take responsible action. ♻️

Your apartment complex may be producing more waste than you think. 🏢
Any one of these is enough to bring it under the Bulk Waste Generator rules:
🏢 A built-up area of 20,000 sq.m or more
💧 Daily water use of 40,000 litres or more
🗑️ Daily waste of 100 kg or more
If that sounds like your premises, it’s time to sort your waste at the source and manage it the right way. ♻️

LOOKS ODD? THAT’S HOW MIXED WASTE LOOKS TOO!
Would you mix dirty dishes, old phones, sanitary waste and recyclables in one place? Then why mix different types of waste in one bin?
Segregate your waste into 4 streams: Wet, Dry, Sanitary and Special Care.
Make the right choice today for a cleaner, greener tomorrow!
SEGREGATE RIGHT. KEEP YOUR SURROUNDINGS CLEAN. LEAD THE CHANGE!
