After years of prayer and patience, Central African Preaching Academy (CAPA) in Malawi launched a two-year Advanced Certificate of Biblical Studies in August. So far, 12 students are enrolled in the program, which is “designed to equip church members and church leaders with a strong foundation in Bible, theology, and Christian worldview,” according to CAPA president Kellen Hiroto. CAPA is also thankful for its expanding faculty and staff team, including CAPA graduate Chisomo Masambuka, who completed his studies at The Master’s Seminary this year and is now serving as a faculty member and dean of students. CAPA asks for prayer as its students adjust to the demands of the new program. Please pray for diligence, hard work, and joy as they continue their studies. They also ask for prayer for the Expositor’s Conference this November, which will focus on “The Sufficiency of Scripture,” and for CAPA’s continued work to train rural pastors through the Theological Studies by Extension program. Faithful preaching requires humility. We proclaim what God has said and trust Him to do what only He can do. Shannon Hurley has served in Uganda for more than two decades through Sufficiency of Scripture Ministries, training and discipling men for pastoral ministry. He also serves through Shepherds Training College, a TMAI Candidate School. In this message, Shannon speaks about the place of expository preaching in making disciples and equipping faithful church leaders. God has given us His Word, and our responsibility is to make it clear so that people are brought face to face with what He has said. Ministry can easily become about our own voice, wisdom, or influence. But none of those things can change a heart. God alone has the power to do that through His Word. Public worship plays an important role in the life and discipleship of the local church. Through the preaching of the Word, prayer, singing, and fellowship, believers are continually being shaped by the truth of Scripture. Those who lead God’s people must give careful attention to public worship, seeking to lead with biblical conviction, wisdom, and faithfulness. #TheMastersAcademyInternational #TMAI #BiblicalWorship #ChurchLeadership #PastoralMinistry #LocalChurch #BiblicalTheology #Discipleship #Scripture #ChristianMinistry

Jesus Christ is King. He is Lord over all, and true discipleship means following Him and submitting every part of our lives to His Word. The call to make disciples begins with this reality. We are called to make followers of Christ who know His Word and live under His authority. #TMAI #TheMastersAcademyInternational #TMAIInternationalSymposium #JesusChrist #ChristIsKing #Discipleship #BiblicalDiscipleship #WordOfGod #BiblicalTraining #GlobalMissions

Scripture tells us that history is moving toward an appointed end. Jesus Christ is coming again, and what God has revealed about the future should affect how the church lives and carries out its mission today. The certainty of Christ’s appearing should give greater urgency to the task before us. The gospel must be proclaimed, disciples must be made, pastors must be trained, and churches must be strengthened. This connection between biblical eschatology and global missions will be the focus of the 2027 TMAI International Symposium, Missions in Light of Christ’s Return. Together, we’ll examine what the Bible teaches about the last days, Christ’s return and future earthly kingdom, and God’s purposes for Israel and the nations. Join us March 9, 2027, in Santa Clarita, California. Expository preaching allows the church to hear clearly what God has said in His Word. As Scripture is faithfully proclaimed, God’s people are brought under its authority and shaped by its truth. Shannon Hurley reminds us that the preacher is a herald, entrusted with the message of the King. The work of missions calls for biblical conviction, wise stewardship, and accountability. TMAI seeks to bring those priorities together in service to the global church. Tom Dickerson, GMI Missionary Partner, has experienced the value of working alongside TMAI and its global network. Years of ministry experience across different cultures provide missionaries with wisdom and support as they serve on the field, while Scripture remains the standard that governs the work. One of the joys of Sing! this week has been celebrating the rich history of Scripture and congregational worship with so many friends of TMAI. Eric Weathers and Wayne Knowles had the opportunity to present Keith and Kristyn Getty with an authentic page from a 1549 Matthew-Tyndale Bible, the first Bible to incorporate William Tyndale’s translation work for the entire New Testament and a portion of the Old Testament he was able to translate before his capture and execution. Our team also gave them a 16th-century Psalter title page containing Psalms 1 and 2. These historic pages offer a remarkable connection to the Reformation and to generations of believers who benefited from the renewed emphasis on biblical preaching and the blessing of congregational singing. It was a special moment to share with Keith and Kristyn during a conference centered around the church singing the truth of God’s Word together. We’re also grateful that every Sing! attendee received a copy of Eric Weathers’ William Tyndale’s Accomplices, with 7,000 copies given away throughout the conference. #TMAI #TheMastersAcademyInternational #SingConference #Sing2026 #KeithGetty #KristynGetty #WilliamTyndale #Reformation #ChurchHistory #BiblicalWorship #CongregationalSinging #Psalms

For generations, faithful men and women have sacrificed greatly so that others could have the Word of God in their own language. That same Word continues to shape the preaching, worship, and songs of the church today. In William Tyndale’s Accomplices, Eric Weathers tells the stories of those who risked their lives to help bring the Scriptures to the English-speaking world. If you’re attending Sing!, you received a free copy in your attendee bag. Come see Eric and the TMAI team at our booth right by the attendee lounge and learn more about the work of TMAI around the world. #TMAI #TheMastersAcademyInternational #SingConference #Sing2026 #WilliamTyndale #Scripture #BiblicalWorship #CongregationalWorship #ChurchHistory #GlobalChurch

One of the great benefits of the Reformation was the restoration of preaching. During this same period, Psalters helped restore congregational singing to the worship of the church. The Genevan Psalter gave congregations metrical versions of the Psalms set to melodies that could be sung together, helping bring the singing of Scripture into churches and homes. The first complete Genevan Psalter was published in 1562. At Sing! this week, TMAI had the privilege of giving away authentic pages from Psalters printed in the 1500s. Congratulations to those who received a piece of this remarkable history and a reminder of the rich heritage of congregational singing passed down through generations of the church. #TMAI #TheMastersAcademyInternational #SingConference #Sing2026 #GenevanPsalter #ChurchHistory #Reformation #CongregationalSinging #PsalmSinging #BiblicalWorship

Missions, worship, and Scripture are inseparable from the life and work of the church. The Word of God shapes our worship, governs the missionary task, and equips believers to faithfully serve Christ and make disciples among the nations. This week at Sing!, Dr. Chris Burnett, Philippe Viguier, and Eric Weathers are sharing resources that speak to each of these areas. Biblical Missions, Intentional Worship, and William Tyndale’s Accomplices each offer biblical instruction and encouragement for the life and ministry of the church. If you’re attending Sing!, stop by the TMAI booth right by the attendee lounge to meet the team and explore these resources. All attendees receive a free copy of William Tyndale’s Accomplices, and when you sign up for our email list to receive stories from the field and ministry updates, you’ll receive a free copy of Intentional Worship. We’d love to meet you! #TMAI #TheMastersAcademyInternational #SingConference #Sing2026 #BiblicalMissions #IntentionalWorship #WilliamTyndale #BiblicalWorship #GlobalMissions #GreatCommission

Worship is central to the life of the church, and pastors have a responsibility to shepherd those who lead it. Philippe Viguier, pastor, worship leader, and co-author of Intentional Worship, encourages pastors to think carefully about how worship shapes the theology, culture, and hearts of their churches. If you’re attending Sing! next week, stop by the TMAI booth and pick up a free copy of Intentional Worship when you sign up for our email list to receive stories from the field and ministry updates.
