On June 6, 1944 the D-Day landings took place in Normandy, France. These landings opened a Western front for the Allies, began the liberation of France, and played a critical role in the downfall of the Nazis.
Today, 82 years later, YAF is honoring the memory of the heroes who stormed those beaches by sending some of our best and brightest students to Normandy with Lt. Col. @AllenWest to commemorate the invasion and the sacrifices made for our freedom.
