🎉 Excited to share our new paper in Brain!
🧠 Moving beyond cortex-centric models, we reveal how cerebellar-cerebral structural patterns relate to social cognition in bvFTD.
A personal milestone in my journey toward whole-brain network neuroscience! ❤️

We mourn Sir Patrick Stewart, whose intelligence and humanity reached generations.Stewart lived with Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia. As he inspired compassion in audiences, may we bring it to people living with dementia and those who care for them.

What does it take to understand why brains age differently across people and populations? Next week, the ReDLat2 community will come together in Santiago for the ReDLat2 Annual Meeting 2026 to explore how genetics, the physical and social exposome, biomarkers, neuroimaging, and biological aging can be integrated to better understand dementia risk, resilience, and healthy brain aging. Looking forward to reconnecting with colleagues from across the network and continuing to build a more inclusive and globally relevant approach to dementia research.

Culture shapes health across the lifespan. Today, we published two papers in @TheLancet on cultural engagement and arts as a global health resource. For me, this matters because cultural engagement can act as a salutogenic factor, helping prevent disease while actively supporting health and resilience. This may be particularly important for healthy aging, brain health, and dementia. The first paper outlines key priorities for advancing the science of arts and health, from mechanisms and cultural context to stronger global evidence. The second develops roadmaps for translating this knowledge into research, public health, clinical practice, and policy. Congrats to @NishaSajnani & Daisy Fancourt, and the whole team. Delighted to see these publications highlighted at #UNGA. @j_artshealthlab @CULTURUNNERS @UCL_SBB
