It was an adrenaline-filled experience, showcasing Jinja’s exciting adventure tourism offerings.

At the first Uganda-Italy Business and Investment Forum in Rome last month, the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister @R_Nabbanja said in her keynote address that the success of the meeting would not be measured by speeches, but by the agreements and investments it produces.
This afternoon, a delegation of Italian government and business leaders arrived in Kampala to explore investment opportunities presented by the Ugandan delegation at last month’s forum.

𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐎 | A group of Italian investors landed at Entebbe International Airport today, Thursday, 5th November 2026, beginning a four-day official visit aimed at exploring opportunities for trade, investment, and partnership between Uganda and Italy.
This trip was prompted by an invitation from the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon @R_Nabbanja, at the recent Uganda-Italy Business and Investment Forum in Rome.
Uganda showcased its homegrown coffee brands at the 8th Swiss Coffee Festival in Zurich, making its debut at Switzerland’s largest coffee trade fair.
Through the @geneva_uganda , Gorilla Conservation Coffee and Carico Coffee connected with thousands of consumers, showcased Uganda’s specialty coffee and explored new market opportunities.

Today at 5:15 pm local time Myanmar authorities released Felix Adupe a Ugandan victim of human trafficking and handed him over to Edan a NGO that has been a contact point for treatment and safe custody. Together and other 20 detained Ugandans will be handed over to Ambassador Betty Bigombe next week in Yangon and transport arrangements to bring them back home will be arranged. We continue to negotiate for more Ugandans still missing in Myanmar. @UgandaMFA @Parliament_Ug
#Day4 Kenyan tour operators and travel influencers, led by Amb. Herbert Kiguli, Consul General @UgandaMombasa , explored @kaynelafarmsltd in Kayunga District.
The delegation experienced the farm’s diverse tourism offerings, including agro-tourism, industrial tourism and cultural tourism. They also explored various projects such as pottery, woodwork, poultry, orchard, aviary and fish farming among others.
The visit featured a taste of Kaynela’s farm-to-table experience, alongside exciting recreational activities such as quad biking, horse riding and F1 go-karting, among others.
😂Fun fact: @kaynelafarmsltd is known as Uganda’s Garden of Eden.

On November 3, 2026, H.E. Deogratius John Ndejembi, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, arrived in Uganda on an Official Visit to deliver a Special Message from H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda.
The Tanzanian Vice President and his accompanying delegation were formally received upon arrival by Hon. Haruna Kasolo (Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Cooperation) and Amb. (Rtd) Col. Fred Mwesigye (High Commissioner of Uganda to Tanzania).
The primary objective of the high-level visit was to deliver of a Special Presidential Message from H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The composition of the delegation comprising senior Officials from energy, petroleum, gas, and infrastructure sectors highlights the ongoing strategic bilateral engagements and key Regional economic initiatives between Uganda and Tanzania.

Uganda–Switzerland Dialogue on Migration and Residence
Representatives of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Uganda in Geneva held a productive meeting with the Deputy Head and the Return Specialist of Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Migration.
Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest relating to migration and residence, providing an opportunity for dialogue and engagement between Uganda and Switzerland.
