Condolences to the family of the 71 year old man who perished this am. So sad, and sadly so preventable. I put this squarely on @CentralPark_NYC Conservancy. Too many potential "conflict points" bet park users, their pets, cyclists, e-bikes, etc. Accommodations for speed a big mistake.

NYC DOT is creating manufacturing gridlock. With lots of cars driving, he goes and cut a wide lane for unused bikes lanes and bus lanes in the middle of Flatbush Ave Brooklyn . He will cut parking on streets so businesses can close. Yet none of the city council speak up.

Gentrifying our streets. We pay tolls + taxes baked into our paychecks, insurance and car payments for our roads to he used. DOT is a captured agency run by fake urban advocates functioning as government lobbyists for Uber & Lyft. All these redesigns are dangerous and spiteful.
