If you have issues building your miniapp, launching a project on Base, or need any other support, please open a developer forum post in the base.org/discord you’ll find me there 🟦
In February, we launched the Based DevRel Ambassador program
Technical builders from all over the world volunteered to help the next wave of Based developers. Today we're naming our first two program leads:
@cryptostpn + @0xKacperrr0 have put in the hours! Get to know them🧵

I was the first Based Advocate
My thoughts along with much love and gratitude to everyone who was part of it
I’ve been getting a lot of messages and mentions about the Based Advocate program. While I’m no longer at Base, I wanted to recognize the people behind it who I had the pleasure of working with
The program started three years ago to recognize helpful, impactful community members who showed up every day in Discord. We later expanded to Reddit, growing to around 100 advocates worldwide, representing many different languages and backgrounds
Together, they helped grow and support a Discord community of ~600k and a Reddit community of ~100k
Many participated in our decentralized support and ticketing system, collectively resolving hundreds, sometimes thousands, of tickets each week. Many were volunteers. Beyond support, they were in the channels every day, answering questions, welcoming people, and keeping conversations going
I’m sad to see the program sunset. Many of these contributors have been with Base for years, dedicating hours every week because they wanted to be part of something and help it grow. They deserve recognition for the time and care they put into this community
If any company or project is looking for moderators or community contributors, please reach out. I’d be happy to connect you with some great people 💙

Base Is Building More Than a Blockchain 🧵
I went through the first-ever @base Global Builder Call, and and if you missed it, this thread is everything you need. 🧵⤵️
The idea behind this entire call came from @AhaanRaizada [ global builders, growth & GTM ].
The ones who made it real and hosted it were @saxenasaheb [ Global Builders Lead at Base] , and @Nibel_eth [ @baseapac Regional Lead.]
For 75+ minutes, Base brought together @jessepollak , core ecosystem builders, early-stage teams and the community to show what is actually being built.
From $15B+ monthly BTC + ETH spot volume, to $4.4T+ monthly stablecoin volume, to tokenization, x402, onchain credit, agents, prediction markets and the next generation of builders.
@base is no longer just trying to attract builders.
It is trying to create an environment where builders can find users, liquidity, capital, distribution and eventually millions of customers.
So I went through the whole call and pulled out the parts that actually matter.

Based Evening Builders 💙 Day - 28
Today is our Day 28 of exploring @base in Live.
And tonight's discussion is about something that most people still haven't fully understood yet.
We keep hearing the phrase ''AI agents'' everywhere now.
But on Base, agents are already becoming part of a real financial system.
Not theory.
Not future concepts.
Actual live infrastructure.
Agents that can hold wallets.
Move USDC.
Pay for APIs.
Trade onchain.
Manage positions.
Interact with protocols.
And continue operating continuously without human intervention.
Tonight's Topic :
When Finance Stops Sleeping - Inside Base's Autonomous Agent Economy
Tonight we go deep into -
How autonomous agents are different from normal automation tools and trading bots
Why Base's low fees, USDC liquidity and developer ecosystem made it the center of agentic activity
The rise of trading agents, payment agents, yield optimizers and prediction agents already live on Base
x402, machine payments and what $100M+ in agentic stablecoin volume actually tells us
Why companies are starting to talk about ''agentic commerce'' seriously now
What happens when software starts participating in the economy directly instead of just assisting humans
The risks too - broken incentives, bad automation, security problems and why the space is still very early
And how this entire machine economy connects back to the last 28 days of exploring Base together
