Some people add real value to a project just by caring. ZET (@0xKharon) is one of them: every debate, every argument, backed by logic and zero personal agenda. Left him a review on @ethos_network. Go vouch for the people who build ! app.ethos.network/activity/v…

Another great investigation from team "white hat" at @ethos_network @0xKharon has negatively reviewed @eightlends. Everything started by a back and forth conversation about some ambiguous engagement replies that lead to interesting discoveries about an account with 80k+ followers. I encourage you to read through the review and judge for yourself but if you want the TL:DR version, I got you: • 8Lends offers 19–25% yearly returns, but the reviewer flags serious risks. • Offshore setup, unclear protections, and “100% protection” claims that critics question. • Linked borrowers and shaky financials raise questions about where repayments come from. • Allegedly fake “independent” ratings. Basically: lots of red flags, not proof of a scam. ethos.to/Z36nzj

I love @Rabby_io but @buz_eth claims that they are automatically injecting their referral code at the point of approval whenever you "start trading perps" on their wallet. I guess, you can say that they "deserve" it but it's a shady tactic that I personally don't appreciate. I used to trade some of my perps on rabby, but not anymore. We deserve transparency and honesty which builds trust in the space. Thankfully, @ethos_network dedicated investigators like Buzz, Zet and all of the hard working "white hat" reputation operatives will help us clean up the swamp. ethos.to/Xc6nvq

The @ethos_network community is organizing a slash round against @megaeth. At the moment, this entity's credibility score is incredibly inflated and does not correspond to reality. The ability to adjust and follow up-to-date metrics, in my opinion, should be a priority task on an ongoing basis. Perhaps @AbstractChain will be next. I also advocate the idea of modifying the existing slash mechanism. In my opinion, the credibility score should be adjusted not only in the context of incidents, but also with the goal of updating it through consensus. This would not cause potential harm to the reputation of those who gave a positive signal in the past.

You can review the details here. If you previously wrote positive reviews about this project and your opinion has changed today, I recommend "archiving" them and also participating in the consensus. app.ethos.network/activity/s…

I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of science fiction. More like one of the forks in the road of the future that is quite real and feasible. At the moment, I'm interested in what position people on the network will soon find themselves in. Essentially, we're facing the threat of agentic swarms with multi-level cloning, through which attacks could be carried out. What if tomorrow you see your own copy on the network? An equally interesting question.
it’s 2041. AI has taken over. Money is worthless. the only currency left is social capital your net worth = what others are willing to stake on you who’s building this?

Verily, glory to you, O great Ethos. May you strike all the haters with your ethical visage. And let the holy principles and ideas triumph as a pillar worthy of worship and wash away all the filth from CT, cleansing the souls of the erring.

A tokensale model based on social signals and reputation. You see who's buying. He understands that he's being seen. Everyone understands everything and sees everyone. It would probably be hard not to buy or to buy little. Not a bad lever of social pressure on investors. Make them measure their buying power against each other, make them not sell by tying their decision to their ego.

Twitter is a place where, apparently, you need to say what the majority thinks. Even if it's wrong. That's exactly how people degrade on social media. Around them there are many who understand this and monetize it, profit from other people's opinions and emotions without negative consequences. You made money off them and at the same time you're a hero, because you spoke out. Being against the crowd and having hate, not everyone will want to, and not everyone will be able to. Being against is not rewarded. Hence, the skill of critical thinking is not incentivized.

I keep getting asked why a memecoin has more liquidity than the token from @ethos_network. I have the exact same question, why? Why do you add liquidity to a memecoin but not to base:0xeeee77bc7e82c0d4166d52f58239d4c5bf41eeee ? Maybe because a memecoin builds a community, while from a project people expect it to do that itself? Maybe because a memecoin has high trading volume and it's profitable to hold LP? Or maybe because the price guarantee option at 3.57 is literally solid liquidity of several million dollars at a fixed price that for some reason you don't see? Among other things, redemption burns the circulating supply, and people redistribute funds by buying on the market with the returned money.

I was one of the first to criticize the token, its tokenomics, and its utility mechanics directly in the main chat. That dialogue with the founders is still there. I didn't like a lot of things. That's why I refused to buy at 4.2. I don't think it's worth comparing this to SBF, very different stories. But if you don't understand the point of Ethos existing, then I don't know why you bought a token whose existence you don't support either. For me, the point of Ethos existing is to give the community a voice and to coordinate knowledge about every entity in web3. Today it's the only protocol that aggregates social signals and can tell you who is worth dealing with and who is better avoided. Regarding the credibility score, I have my own criticism too, which is why I value above all the data that people contribute.

ignore the noise, put your head down and build things that drive value back to the token.

Recently I figured something out. If you give people the opportunity to independently value a token's FDV through an auction, then you as a founder are obligated to follow that valuation. Even if the community has inflated its expectations twofold. They valued it at, say, a billion? - Your fault. Pledge everything you have, but make sure Akhmed makes it 2x. Won't do it? = Akhmed will come to your posts and write "Scam projekt." Do you want that? Nobody wants that. So they made the decision, but you're the one to blame. If part of the community sells the token, causing the rest to take losses -both parts of the community will gnaw at you. Even if you have a refund option for them at a fixed price - your fault. They don't want the refund and sell on the market at a loss? - your fault. They didn't do proper research? - your fault. Want to be a project founder in web3? - your fault.

No offense, but the best way to tell a human-like bot from a human is to find out its position on crypto taxes. And in general on laws restricting freedom of action in crypto. Be careful with these bots. If I were you, I'd stop communicating with them. A sign of a bot is unquestioning obedience to the rules of the system controlling it.

Sometimes I read about how some guys get tracked down and robbed in their own homes, with their crypto taken. I also want someone to track me down and try to rob me. It's a magnificent phenomenon, so subtle that it's hard to understand. Imagine a hunter who falls into a trap because of his own selfish desires and slowly dies in agony and torment, bringing pleasure to his victim simply by his existence. In the modern world, you won't find a better way to satisfy your needs within the bounds of morality.
