Ray Gunn was beautifully animated, the art design had me in awe the entire time, excited for it to release in December so I can see it again

I leave the cinema thinking every movie is the greatest movie of all time, the atmosphere completely strips away my sense of objectivity for a good 24 hours

Just rewatched #Wildwood In awe and tears at what was achieved here by the wonderful storytellers, animators and craftspeople at @LAIKAStudios. Those final 20 minutes are beyond stunning, up there with some of the best battle scenes ever put to film.

Genuine thank you to @LAIKAStudios for continuing to make human-made, breathtaking works of art. #WILDWOOD was fantastic, beautiful and inspiring. Please go see and support this film, it’s meant to be seen on the big screen, and so many people worked so very hard for it to be experienced that way.

Sin can be caught as easily as the plague. See how the one and only Michael Gothard transformed Father Barré from script to screen. KEN RUSSELL’S THE DEVILS is now playing in theaters: thedevils.movie

40 years since making The Color of Money. I had the privilege as a young artist, to have a general meeting with Paul Newman and separately with Martin Scorsese years before making this film, where they shared some of their wisdom on cinema. Of course, I’d seen their films, but prior to meeting them for the first time, I set up a personal study course where I would watch their films in sequence from the beginning of their careers, up until that point in time. After being cast in The Color of Money, I once again studied all of their films in sequence. Having studied their work, then being able to see firsthand these incredible artists, the towering legends of our field, at work on set, I was able to observe their practical application in every aspect of acting and filmmaking from their point of view. I will always be grateful for this opportunity and for the generosity that Newman and Scorsese showed me with their knowledge of cinema and insight throughout the entire process. To Marty, Paul, and the enormously talented cast and crew, it was a pleasure and an honor to be part of this film with you all! I have carried this experience and knowledge with me my entire career.

Brad Bird recommends seeing ‘RAY GUNN’ in 70mm or Dolby Atmos theaters if they are available near you. “70mm is gonna feel a little old school with some of that flicker but also seeing it digitally with Dolby Atmos is another trip.”

“Even a bad day in nature is better than a good day in the office” The North is my sleeper of the year, beautiful film not only in its story, but the cinematography and sound design throughout the film. I felt very seen in this movie, loved every second of it.
