The Final Staking Season
As season nine of REACT staking comes to a close today at block 7,196,129, we'll be launching the final season for our current staking model with a short-term two-week pool which will kick off at the next block (7,196,130) and run up until October 28th, offering 500k REACT to split among stakers.
The Omni-Fork is Coming
You may be wondering why we're launching a shorter pool than usual this season.
That's because we're planning to roll out the Omni-Fork upgrade to Reactive on October 28th, which will bring a host of staking changes as we move to a true delegation and validation system. More details coming soon!

Today seems like a good time to cover just a few of the potential security applications for Reactive contracts, so let's take a look! 🧵
Hacks, exploits and scams have sadly became commonplace in Web3 and they usually don't target the big fish like Binance.
The vast majority target regular users, especially those new to blockchain. To help, we put together a 3-part guide on how to protect yourself 👇

Might want look into this, especially if you're going to @ETHGlobal Mumbai 👀

Position Guardians & Vault Protection
Personal RCs can watch collateral ratios, utilization rates, or oracle feeds across chains and automatically:
- Rebalance
- Unwind leverage
- Move funds to safer venues
The same pattern that powers liquidation protection, applied to any risk surface.

We have (well, had) a member of the community who just couldn’t accept the concept of native and wrapped tokens.
He kept sending screenshots from DexScreener (or similar) showing the red exclamation mark and saying the token isn’t renounced.
One final time, I want to explain what the REACT token is.
It’s the native token of Reactive Network, which means all emission comes from Reactive Network. I honestly don’t know how it could be explained in simpler terms.
Outside of Reactive Network, for example on Ethereum or Base, REACT is represented by Wrapped REACT. That’s a token minted every time someone locks native tokens in the bridge contracts. When you bridge back to Reactive, the wrapped token is burned and the native tokens are unlocked from the bridge contract on Reactive.
Wrapped REACT’s smart contracts will never give up their mint functionality, because without it there would be no bridging.
Wrapped REACT’s smart contracts will never have their ownership renounced either. If they did and a vulnerability were found in the bridge, the team couldn’t do anything to stop the hack, and every token holder would become collateral damage.
Now let’s clear the air about Reactive Network itself. For context, any network can decide to mint tokens if all its validators agree to it. Remember CRO minting 70 billion tokens?
Reactive is committed to finding validation partners trusted by the space, not just by us. There’s no intention to mint tokens, today or in 10 years, but having external validation will end this discussion once and for all.
Cheers,
Daniil
