i just realized whats been missing from my timeline since 2022: the defi guys. the dudes who would woke up and tweet unhinged 19 steps big brain well calculated strategy involving 4 chains 6 protocols, 3 stable coins and some random triple-wrapped restaked leveraged token with ticker like stkdhETH that u never heard of thats probably what made defi fun back then but i kinda understand why all gone. a 10% a year strategy just isnt that sexy compared with memecoins and gambling and ppl came into this hoping to change their life not just to earn $80 a month to pay the electric bills but again, i still think the defi stuff still sexy for me i heard like in @monad that they hab 140 something protocols but whats the point having that much if most clueless lazy ass noob shit dudes like me dont know how to maximize the yield. since soon we gonna have the @xStocksFi tokenized whatever stuff something, it would be great if we hab those defi guys in the purple chain

I know i was right about my criticisms about Monad and all turned out to be right. Now this is my last tweet about Monad (i will be here but not talk about Monad) which includes some opinions of mine. There were other people who talked about problems of the chain or project itself but i wanna talk about the price. Might be a little hopium for $MON ? Idk. *These are entirely my personal opinions. I may be wrong or mistaken. Nothing here should be considered financial advice.* The Monad team’s potential thinking and the realities of financial markets: Ahead of the Singapore event, the Monad team may have pushed the price up and released positive news to attract a large number of people into both long-term positions and leveraged long positions. (I saw many influencers shared MON charts and tons of people saw from them) Then, they suddenly drove the price down for seemingly no reason, leaving many people trapped in their positions. By pushing the price even lower, they forced leveraged positions to get liquidated and made long-term holders panic and sell at the bottom (a process that may still be ongoing). Through this approach, they potentially profit from taking the opposite side of these positions while also scaring token holders into selling their tokens at extremely low prices, allowing team to accumulate more. The huge amount of tokens already held by the project, combined with those sold by investors who are forced to exit, would further increase the project’s overall holdings. (MON token holders increased from 8.5k wallets to 10.5k) Meanwhile, centralized exchanges are also taking advantage of this opportunity, potentially accumulating tokens from investors who were bullish at significantly discounted prices. Once all of this is over and there is nobody left to extract liquidity from, they may plan to push the price to new highs. This time, the target would be bearish traders and investors who opened short positions or keep expecting every rally to be followed by another crash. The goal would be to liquidate them as well. At the same time, all the tokens accumulated at the bottom through buybacks and forced selling could eventually be sold at much higher prices, putting a substantial amount of money into the Foundation’s pockets. As we know, MON tokens are also structured to help cover the Foundation’s expenses. The Foundation can sell these tokens whenever it needs to fund its operations. Naturally, they wouldn’t want to do that at rock-bottom prices, at least not initially. Even at TGE, Monad’s maximum market cap was only around $500M Considering that almost every other L1 has reached at least $2B–$3B in market cap, that’s relatively small. Another possible strategy could be to discourage or limit selling pressure from the large token unlock scheduled for this month (since the price would be extremely low anyway), or to accumulate enough liquidity in advance to absorb potential large sell-offs more easily, using the methods mentioned above. Or all of them above are nonsense and it’s over. Thanks for everything. For hopes, for giving a chance for my life plans, for all experiences and regrets. Gmonad and bye.

I have this great idea for a drug called Regretamine. One dose and all your regrets are gone! Including, obviously, having taken Regretamine in the first place.

Why Hackers Hit Binance, Bybit & Bitget — Still Can’t Touch Coinbase: 🧵👇 959K BTC. $103.31 Billion. 14 Years. 🔒 1. No Giant Honeypot — 69.8M Separate Addresses Most exchanges pool billions inside a few live "hot wallets" for fast withdrawals. @coinbase doesn’t do that. Using Multi-Party Computation (MPC), a complete private key never exists on disk or in RAM—every key is born split into mathematical shards across isolated hardware chips. Result: Its $103.31B sits across 69.8M separate addresses. When hackers breached a Binance DevOps laptop (Oct 2026), they hijacked hot-wallet signing and drained $6.36B in 20 minutes. At Coinbase, hacking an engineer’s laptop gives you zero full keys—just one useless shard.
