jeff from hyperliquid got interviewed by Bloomberg
here's the tldr:
- doesn't own a car or real estate, despite being a billionaire
- spends all his time working
- people describe Hyperliquid as an exchange, Jeff thinks of it as a layer where exchanges can be deployed
- sees huge potential in tokenized RWAs, especially major stocks
- declined $100M VC offer to put community first
- wants Hyperliquid to be the neutral infrastructure for all of finance
best founder in all of crypto

On Elysium, @NestExchange is building on Uniswap v4
Their first hook, AVR, will read the orderbook price natively onchain and raise the pool fee before each swap based on drift
Value that would otherwise go to arbitrage will stay in the pool
wondering if it's related to this nitter.cf/schattenfeuerr/status/…
Beware of a massive scam campaign going on in the Web3 hiring market - I've only come across one so-called "company" posting jobs, but there could potentially be more of them
So, let's start digging into @saifuro_finance (PLEASE VERIFY and don't interact with them)
They have a lot of vacancies on their careers page and a lot of jobs listings across almost every Web3 job aggregator: web3[.]career, CryptoJobsList and many more - with decent salaries and a wide variety of positions.
Ithelia Dias - their CEO (absolutely zero info on him on the web)
@Ed_Wynand - is listed as their CTO (severe signs of mass-following everyone on X) + AI-slop responses to other accounts (even ones posting in Chinese, which doesn't seem to confuse them - potentially multilingual person I guess) - zero public track of working anywhere else
Each Telegram account posted in their company's "About" section is linked to the others - they send gifts to each other, all their profile pictures were uploaded within the last two months, and their last-seen times are almost identical - likely all operated by the same person
In their job listings, they stress that they will never ask for money during the interview process - and I can almost guarantee they will scam you in some other way
After applying, you receive an email asking you to contact their CTO on Telegram - wtf?? Likely an attempt to bypass potential spam reports
Whether it's a campaign to collect private data or target people with crypto stealing scripts during interviews, it looks like a well-prepared, polished, ongoing scam that no-one is writing about
All of them are anonymous, with zero track record and zero info about the company having raised money - and they're spamming every job board with posts that they are hiring.
I'm sure everyone who moderates these platforms should address this issue - job boards shouldn't be a way for scammers to spread their fraud campaigns.

nest just passed a quarter million dollars in revenues with a little more than 2 days left in epoch 49.
I'm sharing a collection of charts that demonstrate the team's, community's, and ecosystem partner's dedication to making @NestExchange the go to place to provide liquidity and trade on HyperEVM.
Market share of volume is approaching 30%
Volume is approaching $4b
Revenues are over $4m and obviously go to veNEST tokenholders
TVL, nest's lifeblood, continues to climb
The market and the world feels uneasy, but we can only worry about what's in our control. And that's building the best product suite possible. Working with the nest family, @Satsyxbt @_Telaga_ @HYPEconomist @0xMerp @OnePumpMan101 gives me a ton of energy and inspiration to win and build positive sum experiences for all of our stakeholders.
Onwards, to the end of epoch 49, Elysium, and beyond.
Recently I stopped asking AI for "summaries" of things I haven't read or heard.
It's very similar to bookmarking an article, everybody does it and forget about it immediately.
For some reason, reading a summary of things makes me feel hollow. I no longer control or able to keep track of my work, so I stop myself from asking for summary and try to digest content more.
If thinking and digesting is like controlling a ship, I think it's important to steer the ship yourself, otherwise a ship with rocket still lead to nowhere because you never defined a destination to begin with. Asking the ship to choose one is definitely not it either.
tbh i never think about what i should call myself
im a designer. i like to design things. its the closest thing to problem solving. i want to define a goals and tackle challenges, or someone define the goals and i'll help finding ways to solve it
but thats not useful to talk about when you look for a job. think people prefer a title so they could fit you in a slot. in reality, it's like a chef role - they expect you to cook the menu they already have, but you can play with ingredients to make even better dishes. that's out of the requirements but it's certainly valuable
however, being a generalist has its place imo. flexible people like me makes the most impact in lean startups, where cost is a hard restraint and one is expected to juggle between many projects. if you join an established org, usually they expect you to do exactly as told in the JD, so more maintenance work and less batshit crazy ideas
either way, choose wisely and you shall find yourself in the best environment possible
