The parents would have to pay cash from pocket.
They won’t be able to access student loan.
Also it’s a bit complicated so schools just avoid it all together by refusing to give home status.
She just said “You don’t need statistics”
How can someone this vacuous get invited on live TV?
With this same brain?
A 10 years old has more coherent thoughts
They will leave Care Job for better opportunities also They will claim benefits
What’s your evidence
Don’t need one.
Regarding ILR, I stand by EVERYTHING I said. You don't need statistics to prove how many people leave the care sector or claim benefits once granted permanent residency….the point was, we shouldn’t even be given 1.9 million people who came here on 5 year working visas the OPTION. The country shouldn’t even take the risk if even 2% apply for benefits or leave the care sector.
Just because someone took the opportunity to work here, why must Britain grant them all settled status or citizenship? The sense of entitlement is astounding. They may have been promised it before, but things change based on the economy etc
Prevention is better than cure. We should not give hundreds of thousands of individuals the option to leave the very roles we desperately brought them in for, such as care work, nor provide access to welfare and social housing when public resources are already overstretched until the country is in a better position to accommodate that.
People may pretend not to understand because they are driven by emotion, but opening up welfare access to nearly two million low wage workers will inevitably lead to a portion of them claiming benefits or requesting social housing. Why wouldn’t they?
If people have been living in overcrowded conditions, with two or three families sharing a single property and are suddenly eligible for the housing element of Universal Credit to move into their own family home, of course they will take it.
Britain simply cannot afford to take that risk right now. It is that straightforward.
A man with 26 years experience working in the care sector cooked Lin Mei on immigration🥴😂😂.
He had her clown ass stuttering and making a fool of herself.
She tried the Coonery “they shouldn’t be allowed to stop working in care” and the man wouldn’t stop cooking her!!
Boy!!!
He didn’t even do all that gracious in victory shtick.
He’s rubbing it in their faces 🥴😂😂😂
The next two years would be interesting in the US.
U.S. Senate candidate @AbdulElSayed (D-MI) to opponent Mike Rogers (R-MI): "Enjoy your retirement...you chose hate, and Michigan chose hope. May we never have to see the likes of you in this state again."
This is a very very weird deduction and (permit me to say) an intellectually lazy Parallel to draw.
The context is on why healthcare workers are been regarded.
It has absolutely nothing to do with cyber security.

As a public health professional who worked 3+ years in the U.K., I think it’s important to add some context as to why carers get a faster route to settlement than other skilled workers.
They are not a lesser category of worker. They hold up England's adult social care system 🧵
I feel terribly bad that they have successfully set a precedent for retrospective application of immigration rules.
It’s even more sinister they removed care workers cos their Union would have fought it in court and won for everyone.
Now there is no union to fight for the rest.
Maybe we will just come together and offer you 5 million quid eh..
Everyone knows you have a price.

The numbers they don’t want you to know about immigrant care workers.
1/6
The anti-immigration circus is on a full-on attack, citing numbers they don't understand, and almost all the figures they cite are wrong.
First, the cost.
An 85-year-old woman who can’t wash or dress herself receives 14 hours of care a week. This costs the council £351 (£25.05 an hour). If no care worker comes and she ends up in hospital, the NHS spends £3,934 a week (£562 a day), which is 11 times the cost.
As of March 2026, an estimated 150,000 direct care posts in England’s private and charity-run care providers were filled by Health and Care visa holders. Taking the average working hours in the sector, this comes to about 225 million hours of care a year, worth £5.6bn at the rates councils pay.
For every £1 spent on social care, the NHS saves between 20p and 35p. So these workers save the NHS between £1.1bn and £2bn a year.
The total lifetime cost of these care workers and their adult dependants comes to £9.5bn. The NHS savings alone pay this back within 9 years.
And if no care worker comes, the family steps in. In March 2026, 1.4 million people were claiming Carer’s Allowance, 56,800 more than in February 2025. It pays £86.45 a week for at least 35 hours of care a week. In the UK, 544,000 working-age carers are out of work because of caring. This costs the economy £37bn a year in lost output. And this figure only includes those caring for people of working age. A daughter who has left her job to care for her 85-year-old mother isn’t even included in it.
So, how much does an unpaid family carer cost the taxpayer? According to UK data from 2017 to 2020, a working-age family carer who provides 10 or more hours of care a week costs the state £5,339 a year more than someone in a similar situation who doesn’t provide care: £3,691 in benefits, £1,620 in lost tax and £28 in extra NHS costs.
And demand will only keep rising; in England alone, 410,000 more care posts will be needed by 2040, just to keep pace with the growth in the population aged 65 and over. The number of people with dementia in the UK is projected to rise from 982,000 in 2024 to 1.4 million by 2040. Meanwhile, British workers in care are down 130,000 since 2020/21.
Whatever the announcement might be on the ILR issue.
Kudos to all care workers and mobilizers who fought tooth and nail along side UNISON.
Special thanks to @AndreaEganGS and the UNISON team.
If you work in the healthcare sector and you don’t belong to a union,
JOIN UNISON
I absolutely detest how all these fanatics are proving Ronu idiots right.
Y’all making us agree with low IQ Bigots.
Explain away when people you like “frolick”, castigate when others do it.

Ewo ni Oshakashoko.
Someone called Obidients “noisemakers” for not giving Phyno the Davido treatment after Phyno posted a picture of him and Seyi Tinubu.
For one, Phyno has never publicly aligned with any political party or participated in political activities. If anything, he openly supported Peter Obi in the last election.
Davido, on the other hand, is politically exposed. He played a critical role in the last Osun election and publicly denounced the APC, assuring he'd never associate with the party.
But barely 48 hours later, he was seen frolicking with Wike and the APC caucus, the same people he denounced. Worse still, his Uncle declared support for the APC and is working hard for Tinubu’s re-election.
Comparing Phyno’s pose with Seyi and Davido’s realignment with the APC is a mere irrational attempt at mischief. Worse still the person made a subtle attempt to spark a tribal debate over the issue.
Someone should tell her that if she wants to join the APC or the ADC, she should do so with her full chest and stop talking through the corners.✍️
Lmaooooo!!!
Again,
No matter how “Educated”, “sophisticated” or “well travelled” a Nigerian is, once real life circumstances show up, the real gutter and crab in a bucket attribute in them will jump out.

I won’t doubt it if he’s heavily on the spectrum.

I know nothing about Abdul El-Sayed’s policies but my God he’s going to wreck Trump and his Lackeys if he ever gets into the senate.
Abdul El-Sayed: “We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”
It’s weird they both made a big deal about offering a guest water.
It’s etiquette to offer guest water, she made it weird by making it look like it’s disrespectful to ask.
Also Overfamiliarity breeds contempt, why is your friend cracking such jokes about your GF.
