Speaking today in @ETHIndiaco on open coordination at 3.40pm.
Come over if you’re interested.
Thousands of strangers, no single boss, and somehow the network keeps running. That’s open coordination, and it’s how Ethereum gets built.
@0xSmit, security researcher, works on finding what breaks before attackers do.
@0xpanicError, smart contract engineer at @ether_fi, builds contracts for one of Ethereum’s largest liquid restaking protocols.
@kashvi, social media lead at @BoundlessHQ, tells the story of a network built to make zero-knowledge proving available to any chain.
In the panel, Open Coordination at Scale - moderated by @thisischandresh, has helped build Mumbai’s Ethereum community through @ethmumbai, which brought 200+ hackers and 80+ projects together at its latest edition.

had fun speaking about safe staking today at @summit_defi
very high signal conference with interesting conversations. i’d love to talk and learn from you if you’re into:
- formal verification
- using ai for continuous audits
- secure opsec practices

We entered Bunker Mode in early October at Nonce Capital.
The recent security incidents across crypto and the broader tech industry over the last several months, led us to enter into "Bunker Mode" at Nonce Capital. Bunker mode is a more conservative, risk-off approach across all ether.fi Liquid vault positions we curate.
Prioritizing security kept us free from impact of the Binance hack yesterday. We started moving positions before the Binance hack and is a main reason why we were not impacted.
With Bunker Mode we are prioritizing:
- Reduced collateral exposure: Favoring isolated, single-collateral markets.
-Fewer layers: Minimizing smart contracts and protocols between vaults and underlying assets.
-Stronger asset protection: Favoring off-chain or allowlisted assets with controlled minting and redemption.
-Full transparency: Only holding positions with independently verifiable returns.
This policy applies across the entire Nonce Capital portfolio, including longstanding, well-performing positions. We believe this is the right tradeoff to protect capital and will resume more active strategies when the risk/reward becomes attractive again.
Thank you for your continued trust in Nonce Capital

when @EFDevcon was announced in mumbai, I thought "great! now I dont have to take a long flight to get to a conference"
sigh
you don’t need to be rich to do this. you can hold gold, stocks and tbills on @ether_fi and borrow against them to pay for rent and groceries.
this is democraticization of financial infrastructure.
Mark Zuckerberg has a mortgage
He was worth about $16 billion when he took it out. $5.95 million on his house in Palo Alto, at 1.05%
He could have paid cash for that house 2,000 times
Jay-Z and Beyoncé bought an $88 million house in Bel Air and borrowed $52.8 million of it
Elon had $61 million in mortgages on five houses in California
None of them needed the money
Inflation was running higher than 1.05% the year Zuckerberg signed. The bank was paying him to hold its money. His own cash stayed in Facebook stock, which went up about 20x after that
Every rich person plays it the same way. Their money stays where it grows. The bank's money pays for the house, the jet and the next company. And borrowed money isn't income, so none of it gets taxed
Nobody is offering you 1.05% on a mansion
They are offering you something cheaper. A 700 credit score gets $100,000 to $250,000 on business credit cards at 0% for 12 months. Zuckerberg paid 1.05%. You'd pay nothing for the first year
How to run it the way they do:
1. LLC and EIN. An afternoon and about $150
2. Business checking at the banks you're going to apply to
3. Personal cards paid down before the statements close
4. Chase, Amex, US Bank and Wells Fargo in the same week
5. Your cash stays in an account paying 4%+
6. The bank's money buys the thing that makes money. Equipment, inventory, a truck, a competitor who's retiring
7. Every 0% end date in your phone, 60 days early
Your uncle paid cash for his F-150 and calls it being smart with money
Zuckerberg had $16 billion and still made the bank buy his house

Happy Monday. Back to work. Let's see what happened over the last week.

72 hour update on reseller CryptoBilis incident 🔽
As the investigation continues, we are working with relevant authorities. The volume of impacted devices is limited. We know this is concerning, especially for those directly affected, and we are reaching out to impacted users.
To date, all confirmed cases related to the disclosed draining incident of Oct 9th, 2026, involve devices sold through the Southeast Asia reseller CryptoBilis. Our systems and direct sales channels remain unaffected.
We take the CryptoBilis situation seriously and are actively investigating.
We encourage impacted users to reach out to Ledger Support through official channels and file complaints with their local law enforcement authorities. As a reminder, CryptoBilis has confirmed having ceased all sales of hardware wallets.
We are reminding our authorized resellers and distributors to source products only through authorized channels and never to restock returned products.
Also, we strongly advise users not to purchase from unauthorized resellers, where the risk of buying suspicious, counterfeit or modified devices is important as nothing operates under ledger security guidelines.
Security isn’t static and this incident underscores why we continuously review and strengthen our distribution and anti-tamper processes.
We are continuously improving that work now and events like this strengthen our resolution: reviewing authorized reseller controls, advancing hardware protections, and cooperating with authorities. Thanks to @SEAL_911 for their collaborative support and all their efforts.
This is an ongoing threat that doesn’t just impact Ledger, but the whole ecosystem, and we are calling others in the space to work with us on making improvements for users.
We believe in jointly working with researchers, other vendors and partners on improving industry chain-of-custody practices and anti-tamper techniques. Raising the bar on physical supply-chain integrity benefits the entire ecosystem. If you have relevant information, contact [email protected].
For CryptoBilis buyers: do not initialize unused devices. If already set up, move to a new seed on a device from Ledger. If you have concerns that your device was impacted by the CryptoBilis incident, please contact Ledger Support through the official site: support.Ledger.com.
Ledger Support is available 24/7 to answer your questions and concerns.
Scammers often try to take advantage of incidents like this. Rely only on official Ledger channels. Ledger will never call you, DM you, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase.
