I鈥檝e had this happen to me whilst landing at night - massively distracting and very dangerous. I agree with @scottiebateman - please don鈥檛 do it.
Not only is shining a laser at an aircraft unlawful, they can and do,find perpetrators and hold them to account. Severe fines and jail time aren鈥檛 uncommon. But hey why don鈥檛 we all realise that it鈥檚 REALLY dangerous and not do it for that reason #WePilots
