Got my ballot. Went straight to I-645. It repeals the 9.9% tax on income over $1 million. And it bans an income tax on the rest of us. Then read the last line the AG put on it. Repealing it "would decrease funding for public K-12 education, higher education, and human services." Not a fact. A warning label. Written by the side that wants the tax. It works, too. One poll asked it two ways. With that sentence, keep the tax 57%, repeal 35%. Without it, 44% to 40%. One sentence. 22 points. They start with millionaires. They never stop at millionaires. Read the whole thing. Then fill in your bubble like you mean it. What line on your ballot made you mad, Warriors?

Washington state’s population grew from 4.46 million in 1986 to 8.176 million in 2026, an 83% increase. Total state tax collections: • FY 1985: $4.32 billion • FY 2025: $36.07 billion Real tax revenue growth, adjusted for inflation: approximately 180%. Washington state does NOT have a revenue problem; it has a spending problem.

It should say Repealing it "would decrease funding for politicians and illegals”

What a bunch of crap. Washington State Voter Dept. should be totally ashamed but of course they are not. They are criminals. PS I have just received 2 ballots as I have in past years. Complaining to the County Voter office (Okanogan) does no good. They are not that inept. It's criminal. I shake with anger and have a hard time being civil when I have to go to their office. They are all terrible and I feel no respect for them at all.

Here's mine. In the age of AI; spelling optional. What upsets me the most is there's no balance anymore. We have to now run initiatives for things that never would have made it it thru a balanced government.

You'd think someone would have noticed that.

We got the same deceptive wording about Prop 39 in California. "Citizens may not be able to vote without showing ID." Literally true, but the wording should be "Non-citizens will not be able to vote without ID." US citizens always have ID on us. We need it for multiple things.

Any suggestions for the write-in candidates? I refuse to vote for any of the existing judges. Last time I wrote in Jimothy.

The wording on the initiative is untruthful. There is nothing in the law that mandates the money be spent on education or healthcare. Plus they've never received any funds from this tax, so how can funding be decreased. Vote YES to repeal the Income tax

How does one have a decrease in something one does not have??? 2029 would be the first year the state would see funds from it, still in 2026 last time I looked at a calendar.

Strategic wording has been a thing for a long time. People who don't pay attention are fooled as they intended. Then if we DO get something passed they tell us we didn't understand it and courts step in. SO very frustrating!! 😠
