The @Sunday_Post #ItsTme campaign was launched on the 23 August only a matter of weeks away. This thread explores what we have achieved to date. Thank you to @ladymcbeth2 It has achieved something few public campaigns ever manage :  it has moved violence against women and girls from a subject of concern to a matter of national action. By bringing together survivors, bereaved families, charities, experts, employers, sporting organisations, cultural figures and politicians, the campaign has helped create momentum for change across Scotland. The campaign has secured engagement from the highest levels of government, influenced public debate, generated national media attention and, most importantly, begun translating awareness into practical commitments. 1/
