Should be ashamed of themselves but Ofcos you can’t shame the shameless… busy sending 100s of police and soldiers to KZN to shoot at peaceful protestors but can’t even save the many communities who continue to be abused and displaced because of the Zama Zamas with that same amount of energy??? 🚮🚮🚮

Bail conditions:
Suliman Carrim was granted R100,000 bail by the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court today in the case relating to his failure to appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
Magistrate Marc Curlewis granted bail subject to strict conditions.
Full bail conditions:
Bail amount: R100,000.
Attend court: He must attend all court proceedings unless expressly excused by the court.
Surrender travel documents: His passport must remain with the investigating officer until the criminal trial is completed and his testimony before the Madlanga Commission has been finalised. Any other international travel documents must be surrendered within 24 hours of his release.
No international travel: He may not leave South Africa without the court’s prior permission.
No replacement passports: He may not apply for or obtain replacement passports or other international travel documents without the court’s prior written permission.
Residence: He must reside at his verified residential address, unless the court authorises a change.
Travel restrictions within South Africa: He may not leave the relevant magisterial district without the investigating officer’s prior written permission, which may not be unreasonably withheld.
Weekly police reporting: He must report in person to a designated Police Station every Monday between 06:00 and 13:00.
Contact details: He must provide the investigating officer with his current cellphone number.
Medical incapacity: If he becomes medically unfit to attend court, he must notify his legal representative and the investigating officer, and provide a medical certificate or report from a registered medical practitioner. This must specify the nature and expected duration of his incapacity, and whether he is fit to travel and attend court. His legal representative must submit the medical evidence to the court for directions. A medical certificate alone does not excuse his absence.
Madlanga Commission appearance: His legal representative must contact the commission within 48 hours of his release to arrange the logistics for his next appearance.
