Blame republican senators. They can change this but they choose not to. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THAT FAT ORANGE FUCK IS DEAD.

So we’re supposed to believe that:
1. This is a magical cup of water that doesn’t spill when planes are in nosedive.
2. This guy has magic colour changing shoes.
3. The oxygen masks didn’t drop…
We deserve better false flags.

The Price of Silence: Every Russian Will Pay for the War
Russia's Ministry of Finance has produced a masterpiece of budget planning:
The government has approved a target: to extract a record 1.7 trillion rubles from the public and businesses over the next four years in the form of fines (about $20.5 billion at the current exchange rate).
A great start to "squeezing money" to fund one extra month of the war. Exclusively at the expense of the slaves:
Whether you've violated the rules or not - the party knows best; the treasury is running dry.
This year, the tax authorities have already exceeded their socialist quotas, collecting 389 billion rubles (30% more than planned);
2027 year, the bar is being raised to 396.9 billion;
in 2028 - to 446.7 billion;
And in 2029, collection of the "tax on the mere fact of existence" is expected to reach a steady 464 billion rubles.
The main breadwinner of this repressive fiscal machine is the driver. According to estimates, drivers alone are expected to contribute every third ruble of this enormous sum to the budget.
Owning a car will become a real luxury in every sense of the word - 1.7 trillion rubles won't collect themselves.
The price of "not caring about politics" is rising every day. The election is over - the empty promises have come to an end.

STOPPED AT THE PORT 🚫 Washington Dulles
A traveler used AI to prepare for CBP questioning and apparently got one more tip: destroy the evidence.
Officers found the shredded instructions and put them back together piece by piece.
The plan meant to get them in helped send them home instead.

The 🇪🇺 Commission should put forward a proposal that would allow 🇪🇺 Member States to refuse visas to Russian citizens as soon as possible. Russian citizens should not come to Europe and enjoy the freedom that the Ukrainian people are risking their lives to defend. This is completely unreasonable. - Minister for Migration, @JohanForssell.

The president is again trying to rewrite history about his own public comments. In various March statements that he projected the Iran war would last six weeks or less, he very much did not say, like, "That's six weeks or less to eradicate Iran's nuclear threat in particular, not for the war in general." Inflation went up.
So the administration changed how inflation is calculated and then pretended it went down.
Par for the course with the most corrupt and incompetent and underqualified and disinformation-obsessed presidential administration in the history of the United States.
Inflation numbers came out today, and the official story is that inflation went down. What the headline number doesn't tell you is that the government changed how inflation is calculated in the same release. A month ago, they said July inflation was 3.7%. Today, they recalculated July with the new formula and it dropped to 3.36%. If you measure August the same way as the months before it, inflation comes out around 3.8%, which means it went up. They didn't bring inflation down, they just changed how they calculate it.
Bessent did something similar with CPI last month. You only modify the way you calculate if they numbers are that bad. They genuinely thought we wouldn't notice...
