I hate to say this, but if the TX Dems don’t make at least ONE meaningful statewide victory in November, I will have to move It’s going to become less safe for me as a trans woman as time goes on if there isn’t anyway the TX GOP can be roadblocked

I once moved Franklin and Michael to the same spot on the map, and had one run over the other
Franklin and trevor should be fine... right?

Yea, I trust Trump’s ability to win Vietnam as much as I do with his ability to win Iran
Trump: I could have won the Vietnam War in a week. They kept bombing forests for years instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ho Chi Minh City was called Saigon during the Vietnam War and was the capital of US-allied South Vietnam; North Vietnam's capital was Hanoi. britannica.com/place/Ho-Chi-M… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fall_of_S… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho_Chi_Mi…

Rosenthal is not even a radical bro. He’s considered a “drill baby drill Democrat” Also, none of this bullshit has anything to do with Railroad Commissioner. French doesn’t know anything about Oil or Gas
Texas needs common sense leadership, not unhinged radicalism. Vote Bo French, Republican for Texas Railroad Commission

I think I’m a bit out of the loop here, cuz I’m extremely confused by this WTF happened? I thought Haley Steven’s endorsed Abdul right after the primary ???🤔
I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.

Why is every election in recent history always treated as existential to the extreme? “America will DIE and COLLAPSE in epic Hollywood explosions and warlordism if you don’t vote (for my team, of course) RIGHT NOW!!!” Why can’t an election just be “normal” and mundane?

THREAD 🧵 This will be my non-exhaustive list giving commentary to every statewide race in Texas, and where I currently lean NOTE: I will be deciding one by one whether I’m voting 🟨 or 🟦 in each race. I will NOT be voting Republican this general election cycle

🧵 Railroad Commissioner; Jon Rosenthal (🟦) seems pretty mundane, and Bo French is absolutely terrible in so many ways. So I am comfortable issuing my tactical vote here Altho, I did like DiBianca’s (🟨) commitment of “opposing government picking winners and losers” 🟦

🧵 COMPTROLLER: Probably voting 🟦, despite my reservations, simply because Huffines needs to go down

Honestly, I completely agree with the last two paragraphs here, whether or not Talarico is actually genuine about it Texas doesn’t need to be a blue or a red state. It needs to be competitive
Q: Are you the one who’s going to turn Texas blue? @JamesTalarico: I’m not interested in turning Texas blue. I wanna win this seat so that I can fight for all 31 million Texans — whether they’re Democrats, independents, or Republicans. My party talks about turning Texas blue a lot. Republicans talk about keeping Texas red. I think the best color for Texas is purple. When you have a purple state and competitive elections, it forces every politician in both parties to stay on their toes. My hope in this race is that we can end 30 years of one-party rule and get competitive elections back in Texas so politicians are actually solving problems.
