It’s ok to have differing opinions on the policy direction the city or Toronto takes over the next four years and to have preferred a different mayor. However, if you are out here today saying “we’re cooked,” we’re screwed,” “What a disaster,” etc.

Had he won, I wouldn’t have thought the city was going to explode, like some voices are going to claim (largely for the algo bump—gotta get those engagements).

Collectively we all need to stop blaming individual politicians for systemic problems that have long existed and, conversely, holding up the person we vote for as the one who is going to magically solve those problems.
This type of partisan thinking is why nothing gets fixed,
