ANNIE talking about her dance challenge with RIIZE’s SOHEE during her DAY OFF live 🤍 🦎: It was my first time doing a challenge to another group’s song, excluding MEOVV, so I was really nervous. I watched the challenge video about 100 times and kept practicing in front of the mirror. Even the company staff were like, “I’ve never seen ANNIE work this hard to memorize choreography before!” 😭 But it was so much fun and became such a wonderful memory. I’m really, really thankful. DAYONEs, if you ever get the chance, please let SOHEE sunbaenim know how grateful I am! #ANNIE #ALLDAYPROJECT #애니 #SOHEE #RIIZE

🌟 261029 Weverse post #ANTON #앤톤 #アントン #RIIZE #라이즈 [🇺🇸] 🦕 I recently visited Do Ho Suh's exhibition at MMCA (t/n: National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art) Seoul, and it moved me more than I expected. I've always been someone who feels deeply attached to the idea of home, nostalgia, and the memories of certain places and periods in my life. There's a part of me that always wants to hold on to those things, even knowing that time keeps moving, and that it's nearly impossible to preserve a moment exactly as it once was. Seeing an artist interpret his own life, memories, and experiences through art felt strangely comforting, and even healing in a way. Beyond his incredible architectural reconstructions made from translucent fabric, and the enormous recreation of his childhood home through paper rubbings, one project that particularly stayed with me was his idea of a bridge connecting Seoul and New York. Coincidentally, those are my two homes as well. The project imagines a bridge stretching between the two cities, with a house situated somewhere in the middle. Just the thought of a home existing between those two worlds felt so fantastical, yet strangely comforting. What inspired me even more was how he continued to explore the possibilities of this seemingly impossible idea, blurring the lines between imagination and reality. I was also fascinated by the way he connected hallways and passageways from different homes he'd lived in, bringing spaces from different places and periods of his life into one continuous structure. I think, in a way, I've been building my own version of that in my head. A sort of imaginary home made up of all the places I've lived, the memories attached to them, and the different versions of myself that existed within them. Maybe that's why seeing it realized in physical form felt so personal. I think I even felt a little jealous, in a strange way. Not of the artwork itself, but of how someone could dedicate such an immense amount of time, thought, and labor to giving physical form to something as intangible as memory. Almost as if he'd found a way to immortalize certain places and periods of his life. Because the truth is, we can't really go back. Even if we return to the exact same place, it will never be quite the same as we remember it. The people, the circumstances, and even who we were at the time will have changed. There's something quietly heartbreaking about that. But perhaps preserving the past isn't necessarily about stopping time. Maybe it's about finding ways to carry those parts of ourselves forward, without having to leave them behind. Seeing someone give physical form to that feeling, and devote so much of his life to exploring it, was incredibly moving. It's difficult to describe exactly, but I left feeling inspired, understood, and a little more at peace with something I've always struggled to put into words. 🧘🏻‍♀️🐋🤸🏻‍♀️🌉 #.house #.cool #.art #.fyp ———— ANTON wrote this post in both Korean and English.
