Okay, I deleted the last tweet. Some people apparently have more monitors than IQ. Jokes aside, my intention was never to shit on ROTK as a whole. I just wanted to give them a wake up call. And yes, we already tried to address this privately. We warned them about the copyright issues, yet they continued adding more skins featuring brand logos they don't own or have permission to use. I know some of you might think nothing will happen because it's a "dead" game or whatever other reason you have for believing these brands won't care. But that's a pretty risky assumption to make. Nintendo has taken legal action against emulator projects, for example, so it's not like companies are completely uninterested in what happens to older games or related projects. Obviously, every case is different, but dismissing the risk entirely makes no sense. Yes, I understand that the way I approached this might have left a weird taste in some people's mouths, with the whole snitching situation and everything. But what some of you seem to be missing is the bigger picture, which is also what I explained to Le Berga in the comments. That's the point I've been trying to make from the beginning. Thanks for the the laugh though, some of you posted hilarious stuff.
