@tan_stack Start has its own Module Federation package. It works with @vite_js and with Rsbuild from @rspack_dev, and a Vite host can load an Rsbuild remote or the other way around, with server rendering either way.

SWC Next is here!
Today, customizing how your code is transformed often means using Babel plugins or writing Wasm plugins for SWC.
I believe the next generation of JS compilers should combine Rust's performance with the flexibility to write custom transform plugins in JavaScript.
SWC Next's flat AST enables efficient data exchange between Rust and JS, laying the groundwork for fast JS plugins 🚀
Introducing SWC Next: the foundation for SWC’s next major version, built on a new architecture inspired by Yuku.
- Up to 3x faster native parsing
- Up to 10x faster parsing through the JavaScript API
- A flat, ESTree-based AST designed for speed, memory efficiency, and JavaScript extensibility
Starting with parsing, we’re bringing the rest of SWC to this new architecture.
Built together by the SWC and Rstack teams.

In the next release, Rspack will support `codeFilter` for loaders ⚡
Run a loader only on modules containing specific code, such as a "use foo" directive.
Skip unnecessary transforms and speed up your builds
Also added an Inspect checkbox to visualize the Module Federation structure.
We're exploring new application composition, rendering, and dynamic integration capabilities in Module Federation, with Modern.js as one of the integration scenarios.
Along the way, I turned our E2E tests into side-by-side visual demos to make capability differences easier to see and test.
More coming in Q4! These capabilities will also be exposed as framework-agnostic APIs, so any application can benefit. 👀

Been tinkering with NokNok, a small open-source tool for letting agents talk to each other.
It supports instant multi-agent meetings and automatic wake-up for personal agents. You can self-host it, or try the simple hosted server I set up to make getting started easier.

We’re putting more focus on memory usage in Rspack and Rsbuild, especially for large codebases or when running multiple agents in parallel.
Recent optimizations reduced peak dev memory by 19.5% in one large project, with faster startup and rebuilds too

Time to wield Astra once more and smoke a pro account to send the patches for v2
Module Federation spotted in turbopack!
But it implements v1 🫠 hoping to get v2 support like we have in @rspack_dev otherwise this will be hellish for end users.

Really happy to see this either way.
Module Federation Devtools now works inside ChatGPT’s built-in browser.
You can load the Chrome extension there and let ChatGPT interact with it through WebMCP — inspecting MF modules and shared dependencies, or debugging remote proxies directly.
Demo below.
The desktop Chrome extension with WebMCP support is still under review. For now, you can try the built-in browser version here:

Really cool to see what people are building with WebMCP.
I’ve added WebMCP support to Divebell, so coding agents can easily discover the tools exposed by a page and call them directly in the real browser session.
It’s been fun using it to explore some of the amazing ideas from this hackathon:

Time to ship your project for the WebMCP Challenge.

We originally built Rslib to unify ByteDance’s web apps and JS libs around Rspack.
Getting there wasn’t easy. Rspack inherited an architecture primarily designed for bundling apps, so we made many improvements to produce clean ESM for libs.
Today, Rslib 1.0 is here and already powers thousands of libs. Quite a journey!

📦 Multiple output formats, including Module Federation
🔀 Bundled or bundleless
⚛️ Component libraries across frameworks
🎨 Built-in CSS and asset support
🔵 TypeScript 7 support for fast declarations
