When I was 14, I got shipped out to Minneapolis to play baseball in the Indigenous Games, fuck I was scared, first time traveling, was an introvert and it was for 14 days, by myself with the team. I grew a lot on that trip. No phone, no technology, just plain old streets smarts!

Today, I sent my youngest Son to Anaheim, California for 11 days so he can go play Basketball, it was hard AF to let him go with technology, but it's part of life, and it's exactly what I work my ass off for, to make sure my kids have the opportunities to do whatever they want.
