I have sad news for you.
Our political system is doomed! We ultimately can’t fix the world’s political systems, despite promises from politicians about what they claim they can do to fix it!
After all, God’s Word tells us this planet will have all sorts of problems physically and politically until Christ returns. Then the planet will be judged by fire; a new heavens and earth will be created; and Christ will rule his eternal kingdom. So humans can’t fix this planet—it’s doomed in its current state.
God did ordain government to maintain law and order—although governments have intruded on many issues (e.g., the definition of marriage) that are not part of their ordained role. I applaud Christians in politics who can be salt and light in the political arena, influence the culture for the Lord, and help maintain religious liberty so that we can freely share the gospel.
Regardless of what issue I’m addressing in public talks, one of the main points I make in all my presentations (in a variety of ways) is that we can’t fix things (politically, socially, etc.) on this earth!
And sadly, the majority of people are also doomed, but there’s real hope! What we can do is proclaim the “fix” for each individual—and that “fix” is to respond to the gospel and build all of one’s thinking on God’s Word! And the more we see individuals building their thinking on God’s Word, the more impact we will have on the culture.
Each of us needs to recognize what it means that we sinned in Adam (Romans 5:12), committing high treason against the holy Creator God. We deserve God’s wrath yet get grace: “He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities” (Psalm 103:10).
Just think of what God has done for each of us and what that means:
“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation” (Romans 5:6–11).
All I can say is, “Wow! God did this for me!” And he offers this free gift of salvation to all who will freely receive it!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

There's a kind of friend who calls cynicism realism and hope naivety. Their counsel always sounds wise, and you always come away smaller.
Paul prayed that the God of hope would fill the church "with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope" (Romans 15:13). Hope wasn't treated there as a personality trait. It was the atmosphere of a community.
Who in your life leaves you more convinced that God is able? Praise God for them today!

Avoiding prayer because you sinned is like avoiding a shower because you’re dirty.
Your sin should drive you to God, not away from Him.

For the believer in Christ, death is not the end of life, but an entrance into it, as we become unencumbered from the sinful restrictions of these fleshly bodies. The moment we step through that thin veil, we will see the face of the One who loved us and gave Himself for us. There will be no ghosts, no limbo, no waiting for release, and definitely no "black void of nothingness." Our faith will be made sight. There is only pure joy as we see Christ.

Pray for America 🙏
Early voting in the 2026 midterm elections has already started in some places. As we have emphasized many times on Point of View, one of the best ways to defend freedom is by participating in midterm and local elections—and preparing ahead of time, so you can be an informed voter.
Will you pray about the midterm election with me in these three ways?
One of the things that concerns me and many people most about these midterm elections is the socialist surge we have seen across the nation in several primaries and local elections. There is a real risk that the Democratic Socialists of America will gain power in Washington, D.C. after the upcoming elections, and that will have dangerous consequences for our nation.
Other states will be considering abortion, parental rights, protection against gender transition for minors, and many other vitally important issues. It’s going to be an important election with real consequences, which is why we need to pray.
Please pray the following prayer along with us:
Dear God,
I know You are in control. You are the one who raises up kings and rulers. I trust that the outcome of the midterm elections will align with Your will for this nation.
Motivate Americans to educate themselves now, and to vote in accordance with Your will. Give me and my fellow citizens wisdom as we make our choices on Election Day.
Protect the election process. Keep election workers and volunteers and voters safe. Thwart schemes of fraud and deceit.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
Thank you for praying today. Prayer is the most powerful thing we can do in any situation. Please consider sharing this post with others and let us all come together in prayer.

Mamdani’s 10/7 post was terrible. He literally used Hamas as an intro into condemning Israel lol.
Not even on 10/7 could he bring himself to simply comden terrorists and honor the people who were slaughtered.
He had to spend the majority of his post condemning Israel.

How do you proclaim the gospel?
1. Tell the truth about God.
He is holy!
2. Tell the truth about man.
We are sinners.
3. Tell the truth about Christ.
He died and rose to save sinners.
4. Tell the truth about salvation.
Repent and trust in the Lord.

Why did God allow Satan to rebel and evil to enter His creation?
Because God ordained a world in which the full glory of His character would be revealed.
Without sin, we would never know His righteous wrath against evil, His justice in judgment, His mercy toward sinners, or the staggering riches of His grace in Christ.
God did not commit evil. Satan and man did. Yet their rebellion never escaped His sovereign decree.
Even the darkest act in history, the murder of Christ, occurred according to God's "definite plan and foreknowledge" (Acts 2:23).
God permits no evil purposelessly. In the end, even evil will serve the glory of the One who hates it.

God doesn't need your advice, your input, or your approval. He was perfect, complete, and self-sufficient before you ever existed. He is the eternal "I AM."

“Beware of manufacturing a God of your own: a God who is all mercy, but not just; a God who is all love, but not holy; a God who has a heaven for every body, but a hell for none; a God who can allow good and bad to be side by side in time, but will make no distinction between good and broad in eternity. Such a God is an idol of your own, as truly an idol as any snake or crocodile in an Egyptian temple. The hands of your own fancy and sentimentality have made him. He is not the God of the Bible, and beside the God of the Bible there is no God at all.”
