How safe is your stake?
Rollups have L2Beat. Wallets have Walletbeat. The validators securing tens of billions of dollars in staked ETH have had nothing.
Today they do. Introducing Validator Beat.

We are aware of the alleged Binance wallet drain incident. stETH is not affected and the Lido staking protocol continues to operate normally, including withdrawals.
Lido Earn has no direct exposure and is observing developments to manage risk and exposure accordingly. All user deposits remain secure.
More information will be provided here as needed.
Don't miss the recording of today's Lido Poolside which was jam-packed with information about Lido Lend, ValOS (an industry leading open standard for how to run nodes), and a unique opportunity to join a giveaway for a limited edition Lido validator node or merch box!

“This is the year of institutional staking.”
@LidoFinance's Head of Staking, @KimonSh, tells @bloomingbitio that an estimated $25B of institutional money has flowed into staking so far in 2026, and why spreading it across distributed node operators matters for Ethereum.

I'm happy to share that @ethereum Core Developers unanimously agreed to patch the issue because of the additional time we now have before Glamsterdam on Hoodi.
Sending my personal tons of thanks to all Core Devs ❤️
Dear staking protocols and delegated stakers of ethereum:native,
Glamsterdam hardfork is approaching @ethereum mainnet, and there is an important new attack on delegated staking that you should be aware of!

Lido Glamsterdam on Hoodie Update
On yesterday’s ACDE #248 call, Ethereum core developers made the decision to postpone the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet to allow for further investigation into how EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 interacts with mainnet contracts:
blog.ethereum.org/2026/10/22…
This testnet upgrade delay does not affect the mainnet Lido protocol, and no action is required from stETH or wstETH holders.
Since Lido’s Hoodi contracts had already been upgraded ahead of the previously scheduled October 26 activation, contributors are currently preparing a Hoodi vote to roll back the fork-specific changes and keep the testnet operational until a new upgrade date is set.
Lido DAO contributors are proactively coordinating the rollback with Lido Node Operators and the broader Ethereum ecosystem. If you operate a Hoodi node or validator, please make sure to check both your Execution and Consensus Layer clients for instructions reflecting the postponed activation before October 26.
Lido contributors have been screening EIP-8037 against Lido contracts since June and have found no breaking impact on the protocol’s core contracts so far, which has also been independently confirmed by ChainSecurity.
The review continues alongside the Ethereum core devs’ broader investigation.

0x02 CSM is live on csm.lido.fi.
Complementing 0x01 CSM for 32-ETH validators, 0x02 lets anyone with more available capital run validators with a MaxEB of 2,048 ETH through Lido’s Community Staking Module.
A new permissionless path for independent operators.

This issue makes EIP-8205 even more valuable. With a reasonable pre-registration mechanism for @ethereum validators, we could have avoided that.
Join ACDC #190 next Thursday to support EIP-8205 inclusion in Hegota!
Replying to @d_gusakov
The GIST is:
Your Node Operator can front-run your validator deposit with a deposit containing builder WCs (0xB0 prefix). As a result, you will not see your validator appear, and your deposit will be credited to a builder with the same pubkey.

Congrats to the @get_optimum team on their first mainnet deployment, and kudos for making it freely available to all Ethereum node operators!
Check out Lido operator progress with testing mump2p on Hoodi on the Research Forum: research.lido.fi/t/perch-req…
The Optimum team is pleased to announce our first mainnet deployment, mump2p on Ethereum. With mump2p, data moves across all of Ethereum 2-3x faster, boosting validator performance and network health.
$3.4B of Ethereum stake is already being boosted by mump2p, and we’re now opening up free access for all Ethereum node operators.
