Big thanks to @TamworthAcademy for hosting games today! A fantastic day of football and the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
So tonight was our last GK Session before the summer break! This caps off a fantastic 9 months of work and our young goalkeepers have made incredible strides during that time! They have all been an pleasure to coach and I look forward to seeing them all back in September! JB

Boys on the way up to @HarrogateTown looking forward to a great day of football!
I really wanted to hammer home the technique of dropping off to get set in order to maximise reaction time and give the best chance of making saves. The session was designed to place a real emphasis on working those feet hard to get into an ideal set position. Well done boys!! JB
Today at EMES GK we looked at recovery saves and footwork across the goal with an emphasis on weight transition onto the inside leg to generate power when diving! Another great effort from all our GKs and the quality was fantastic! Well done boys!! JB
After coming to the end of the first block of 2019 at EMES GK, it was Goalie Wars night! This brings together a lot of the concepts that we’ve covered and is a great way to put them all into practice in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere! Well done boys! JB
I’m delighted to announce that in May and June we will be taking our boys to @NFFCAcademy to play against their academy sides! This will be a great opportunity for our EMES boys to test themselves against some of the best young players in the area!
