The thing that fascinates me about this response is his inability to realize that my original post was deliberately lampooning the illegitimate practices of modern "journalists."
OF COURSE I was asking loaded questions with an obvious agenda. OF COURSE I had already determined what I would write in my "story." OF COURSE anything he said or did not say would be used as fodder for my pre-determined narrative.
He completely missed that I was mocking the unethical practices of the modern "journalist."
What puzzles me even more, however, is the way that modern "journalists" engage in zero introspection regarding how righteously they are loathed by the general public. They just dismiss the overwhelming disdain the public has for their misdeeds as being the product of a lack of understanding as to the importance of their work. With the exception of a tiny handful of press professionals like Bari Weiss, members of the legacy media simply refuse to engage in introspection and understand that the public has legitimate reasons to distrust them.
It's a sort of cognitive dissonance that is so extreme that I have a hard time understanding how it is even possible.

He has certainly spent more time policing me, a right-wing protestant conservative evangelical Christian Trump supporter, than he has policing Nick and Tucker.
He has spent the last day insulting me in the most cruel, personal, uncharitable ways imaginable. Meanwhile, Tucker is calling Trump the antichrist, demonically muttering ancient blood libels, and has the biggest podcast audience in the world. Nick is actively trying to get a communist elected in Ohio, and also has one of the biggest audiences in the world. Real political implications from these two. Not a peep from Sean.

You are not explicitly asking anyone to, that would be far too direct, honest & sincere.
Instead you are problematising the fact that others don’t come to your defence — the necessary implication being that others ought to — and then citing the fact that they don’t to either justify or at least function as a mitigating factor diminishing Lindsay’s culpability when he acts like an abusive cretin toward Mollie Hemingway.
This is the only honest accounting of your words and deeds within their context.
Pretending otherwise won’t work on me, the above reading of what occurred is actually the only valid interpretation that does not bastardise the English language beyond recognition.
It’s extremely effeminate the way you either pretend to be ignorant to your own motivations and the logical implications of your own words, and it’s even more so if you actually are dim enough to ‘know not what you do’.
The thing is that when people are sincerely confused, their behaviour doesn’t exclusively polarise in one direction, targeting one faction while reliably excusing & indemnify the other, in a ruthlessly consistent, unequivocal manner. Your demonisation of the right and excuse making for the left is far too consistent to be arbitrary or unintentional.
You’re a footsoldier whose only function is punching right. Politically you’re an enemy. I have no feelings toward you personally, we don’t know one another and I don’t think about you at all.

I wasn't going to do this because what Matt has been going through is actually horrible, and I'm with him on it, but in his write-up about how his wife was being threatened and the guy got sent to prison, he made sure Erika Kirk caught a stray, so I won't be lectured by him.
Lindsay is a paranoid weirdo who absolutely despises right wingers. The good news though is that he has absolutely zero cultural influence outside of the extremely narrow little cult of personality that he’s built up among a relatively small group of mid-level neocon influencers. Beyond that, nobody knows who he is, and nothing he’s ever written, said, or created has made its way into mass culture, or ever will. Stop a thousand random people on the street and not a single one of them will know the name James Lindsay. And that’s precisely the thing that makes this raging narcissist so angry.
